7 months...

7 months down... only two left... wow. I've gained 26 pounds & 10 inches. We just signed up for our Prepared Childbirth class & should be taking a tour of the birthing facility at Kootenai Medical Center soon. This has been a busy month with Grandpa in town, getting the baby's room ready & our shower in CA... whew. Vince is ready for the baby to come now, but I'm still enjoying being pregnant. Check back in a month... ;)

CA Baby Shower

Oh my gosh... Our baby shower was sooo awesome! Nina & Moni were amazing hosts & everyone that was able to be there was so generous! We got a TON of clothes, and lots of gift certificates to Babies R Us, which will come in really handy for our bigger items like the car seat & stroller! I had a great time visiting with my family & friends & Vince seemed to enjoy meeting everyone!

Sneak Peak

When we went to CA for the baby shower we decided to schedule an appointment at a place that does the 3D/4D ultrasounds. My OB only does one ultrasound... at 20 weeks, and while they have the 3D/4D equipment the 2 images we got were not quite the quality we were hoping for, and the baby was still really skinny. I'm so happy we decided to go to this place while we had the chance (none in our area, as far as I know) because the images we got are just priceless! He was sleeping the whole time, and the umbilical cord was in the way, so it kind of looks like his right cheek and eye are deformed, but he's still beautiful. Can't wait to see him in person!

Grandpa knows...

Well, it took less than a week for my dad to find out that the baby's a boy. Ooops. I knew it was going to happen. I mean, he was going to be here for about a month, and between me & the neighbors I knew someone would slip, but I did think it would take longer than a week. :)
