Darin, Happy Birthday!!!!

Darin's birthday was on the 15th. We had a family birthday party at our home with just us and the kids. Cameron was pretty upset that morning and wanted to know if he was invited to dad's party. Darin was so cute and printed up invitations for both Cameron and Brigham and they got so excited! We had cake, ice cream, and balloons.

Darin got to go to San Diego for his birthday and got a GPS too...which came in handy and was totally awesome!

Darin I love you tons and I'm so thankful for all you do. You melt my heart. Happy Birthday!!!

TOYOTA SIENNA

Sorry blog for neglecting you for so long...a lot of fun things have happened over the last few months! I do hope to catch you up on Christmas, our trip to San Diego, fun times on the four-wheeler...out in the snow, and our new van...yes I said new van. I know, I know, I can't believe it either. Just never say never. I just thought I wouldn't be one to get a van. I always knew they were great family vehicles, I just didn't want one. But after our trip to San Diego when we had to rent one, Darin fell in love...yes in LOVE...with a van. He couldn't stop thinking, researching, and talking about how awesome it would be to get a van. So after long talks of how our 15 year old Landcruiser with a bad oil leak (the reason we had to rent a van) wasn't safe for the kids and that it was time to get a new vehicle, I reluctantly went car shopping with Darin. We found our family ride...a 2006 charcoal Toyota Sienna. We totally love it! It is so perfect for our family and the kids are so excited! Cameron said this "I always wanted one of these!" Him and Brigham love playing in it, they like to push all the buttons and look in the mirrors. Cameron put dibs on the captain's chair so he can be in charge of opening and closing the slidding door. I just hope we don't loose a finger.

So now we are a real family...with a van. It's awesome! Don't fret, we are still keeping the landcruiser, it helps me feel cool. We can still go off-roading, camping in the mountains, bust through snow banks...something I'm a little concerned about doing with a van.

Welcome home new van...

The kids had to play in the van...only after playing in the water puddles. The shoes don't get to play.
