Sun=Summer

It was such a nice sunny day today, we had to be outside to enjoy it! The kids all thought it would be a good idea to get their "summer clothes" on because it was soooo warm. Rebecca told Cameron "you don't need socks with your sandals because you need to be like me." They all rode their scooters, shot hoops...or rolled the basketball through the snow, washed the Little Tikes car off with snow using the push broom, and played in the back of the truck...it was a boat, they had tie downs they threw over the edge as anchors. They had a blast!
Cameron and James are best friends!

To your scooters...on your mark, get set, GO!!!

The fastest scooter riders in the west!

Cameron saw me taking another picture of him and got mad and said "oh man not again...no more pictures"

My Day

This is how my day went to day:

I wake up to Brigham shaking me and saying "wake up mom...make bweakfst...mom please make bweakfast...I hungy"
So I diligently get out of bed and head for the kitchen where I find Brigham in the pantry getting out the Honey Nut Cheerios. "I want these mom" he says through a bink... we argue and then I finally give in because he says he'll eat some eggs too.
He wants to help crack the eggs and does really well except for the egg lands on the counter and the shell goes in the bowl...funny Tig. He says "it's ok mom" to which I agree.
We all eat our omelets and head down the hall to my office where we play Lego's for the next hour.
I tried to edit some pictures but Cameron said he needed to do a project, so we did fingerpaints. It is most relaxing because we turn on classical music and let our fingers ooze in the paints. It's great fun. We have lunch...play...play some more...snack...kids fight...play...
We play Candy Land and Cameron said I had to be Princess Frostine. After a few rounds of him winning,he would brake down if I got close to winning, we acted out the parts. I tried to be the chocolate monster, Gloppy, and drag him into my swamp, dip him in chocolate and eat him. He didn't like that too much. So I tried to be Lord Licorice and get him stuck by holding him down and tickling him, he didn't like that either and said I could only be Princess Frostine. Brigham wanted to play guns and shoot bad guys and then we got out the tinker toys and made a windmill an airplane and more guns.
After all the fun games we made pizza bagels for dinner and Darin and Cameron made carrot juice... Cameron's favorite activity. He gets to put the carrot in the juicer and watch the juice come out. I'm always afraid we'll loose a finger.
We had FHE, and did our bedtime routine, read 5 books, told a hundred stories, and gave them both bedtime snacks... which took us two hours to get the kids settled and asleep.
Oh how sweet they are when they sleep. I could wrap them up, rock 'em, and squeeze and kiss them all night. What great boys we have... I love them to death and I am so greatful I get to play with them every day. Thanks Heavenly Father for all my boys...especially my sweet husband who loves me and the boys so much.

We are exhausted and ready for bed.
Good Night!
