Time flies when you are having fun, I can't believe Liam is already 1!
Each place setting had a different passport picture of Liam.

Each guest had their own tray and all items were plated individually, much like you would experience in first class!
His swing was labeled "pilots only!"
Liam had his first taste of something sweet ( he never had sugar up to that point.) I made him a lower sugar carrot cake ( I used applesauce instead of sugar.)
I half to say he really was not too excited about his cake....he liked the M&Ms Adam stuck on the cake best! I guess he is a chocolate lover.....a babe after my own heart!
Liam is very sociable and got a kick out of all the attention.
Honestly, this little man melts me to the core. He really is such a prince!
So he def. stuck to frosting and M&Ms....So much for the idea of low sugar carrot cake!
He received so many wonderful and thoughtful gifts. He played late into the evening with each and everyone of them! These cute little P.J.'s were from his Uncle Sean, I think he looks like such a little boy in them!
Mommy and Daddy gave him this rocking horse that he is especially fond of, it makes the "horsey" noise and he loves to give it kisses!
At one year, Liam:
•Is a walking machine! He has one speed....full speed!
• has more energy than we do…From the moment his sweet little eyes open he is ready to get his curious hands on everything. He is a true busy body and loves to explore just everything!
•has a total of 5 teeth, three on top and two on the bottom.
•has become a bit difficult to feed, as he just can not stand to sit still and not explore for more than 30 seconds. Often, bites of food are desperately crammed into his mouth, while he is playing to ensure he receives a full feeding.)
•nurses 4 times a day, I am just starting to introduce the idea of weaning and have begun introducing bottle feedings for the first time
Drinks organic/ full fat cow milk daily
•loves to clap, blows kisses (sooo cute!), wave and point to anything he wants and to anywhere he wants to go.
He loves to play peak –a-boo and our version of hide and seek
•he sleeps very well, 11-12 hours a night and two naps, 1-1/2- 2 hours each
•is the most social baby I have ever seen. He LOVEs other children; there have been several occasions where people have commented that he needs a sibling as he just loves having other children around!
He has regular play dates with Ben and Parker from church, they are both older than him, however he keeps right up!
•loves to be silly and make you laugh, he will make all kinds of attempts to put a smile on your face. (He gets that from dad)
•Is the king of his Gymboree class. He attends 3 times a week and is a real favorite of all his teachers. He is def. the class clown and the most wild baby of the bunch.
•can climb onto the ottoman and the couch, and can get down from all furniture by himself (feet first instead of head first now!)
•loves his puppy and his blanky and gets so excited when they are near, he hugs, snuggles and kisses them. He is especially attached to his blanky and will not get out of his crib unless his blanky comes too!
• Loves to play outside and spot airplanes and birdies.
•loves when we praise him for anything he does (which is pretty much all day long).
•is the smiliest baby! He has the best smile in the world, and flashes his cute dimples all day long. • Loves to go hiking with Mommy and Daddy. He loves to be in his hiking backpack.
•impressed his Dr. with all of his tricks and social abilities.
• Loves animals, especially doggies….he spots them with great excitement on our daily walks.
•loves to destroy, take apart, and pull out anything!
•Can connect his big Legos
Loves his car, he can get into and out of the car using it’s door with no problem now.
Listens when I tell him ” NO-No!”
Still loves to kick his soccer ball
Says “mmmmm” when something taste really good
Has started to use his baby signs for milk and more
Says Mama and Dada quiet well
Hands down, is Papa’s boy…they have a very special relationship
Loves to “drive” Papa’s big, loud truck around the neighbor hood
Is bored by swinging after 60 seconds
Dances to all kinds of loud noises; the radio, TV, Washing machine, lawn mower…he loves to move and groove!
Is going to be a big brother!
Liam has blessed our lives more than we could ever express. He is amazing in every way. I still look at him everyday and think, " I can not believe he is mine." I am so grateful he is!
