Guest Designer - Lucinda Lucker

Hello everyone!  It's already the month of March!  And this means a new guest designer.  This time we are super lucky to have Lucinda Lucker join us!

Here is a little bit about this fabulous designer.

 My name is Lucinda Lucker, I am wife to John and mum to 11year old Sebastian, 9year old Josephine and 6year old Benjamin, together we run our family restaurant in Bristol, England.

I have been crafting since I was a child and picked up paper crafting 10 years ago. I love to colour, I remember as a young girl every Christmas Santa would bring me a new case full of 147 Crayola crayons, I was always in my happy place.

I am an army wife, mom of four (mostly) grown kids, and currently living in Pensacola, FL in the US. I have been stamping for almost 16 years now, but I have been a crafter forever!  I remember making Christmas gifts for my family at a young age and being so excited about doing it all by myself.  Discovering digital stamps and the online crafting world has been an amazing journey!  I am so grateful to have the opportunity to provide you with a little inspiration this week.”

Guest Designer - Joan Young

Hello everyone!  I'm very very excited to introduce you to our designer this month Joan Young.   

Here is a little bit about this wonderful lady.

Hi! My name is Joan and I have been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years and have two beautiful sons who are my pride and joy. I'm also an Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi!
I have been crafting all of my life and have had my hand in most everything. I started to concentrate on Papercraft four years ago and have been growing in my style and techniques since then. I particularly love Mixed Media and find any excuse to get inked up and texture paste everywhere. Cards, Scrapbook pages, Canvases, no matter what, they are not complete without some ink and texture. My other delight is colouring with Copics. I find my Peace when I have a session of colouring. 

I have only recently come back to colouring and crafting after putting it aside for a year due to RA and Fibro. The result though is that I have come back with a fiery passion and am thoroughly enjoying creating again.

Hello everyone!  It's time for our guest designer of October! I'm super happy to present to you  Jenny Dix.  I'm sure that you will love what she does.

Here is a little bit about this wonderful lady.

Hi my name is Jennifer Dix or you may know me as Jennifer D. I am from Victoria Australia. I have crafted my whole life. I have done hand knitting, embroidery, and machine knitting, which has given me great design and colour skills. 

I first started stamping when a Girlfriend that made beautiful cards introduced my Daughter to Card Making. My Daughter then needed crafting supplies to make cards so I thought I could have ago too. I have now been making cards for five years. 

My Absolute favorite sort of cards to make are Easle Cards and they just have to have Lace and Flowers. My favorite Theme is Christmas I could make them all year round. I love dies and papers of every variety. I usually use Copics to colour but have been playing with Distress Ink Markers also.

And wow this lady has been through a lot.... and it's been a really hard month of August for her so I'm pretty sure she's happy it's September. Our amazing GDT for you this time is the fabulous Nannymac Jack known in real life as Jane McNally.

Here is a little bit about this wonderful lady.

Hi everyone! My name is Jane McNally, also known as Nannymac Jack in the Colouring world on Facebook. I reside in Jervis Bay NSW Australia. I love to colour and create keepsake cards, I Have always had passion for art since I was a little younger and love working with Mediums such as Copic & Mepxy Markers Both I love to work with.

My inspiration and guidance started 4.5 years ago as therapy after losing my first Grand Child - Forever Jane. Prior to that my canvas were way bigger than 4 x 6 as I painted as a hobby.

I am a certified Copic Instructor - Left handed Teacher

Hello everyone!  Were is the time going?!? It's already August!!!!  Wow.  Well again we have an amazing GDT for you this time it's the lovely Madeleine Palomaa.

Here is a little bit about this wonderful lady.

Hi everyone! My name is Madeleine Palomaa, also known as Scrapkonst in the crafty communities on Facebook. I love to craft and I mostly colour and make cards, but I also do decoupage on everything, mixed media canvases, sewing, well, anything that is fun and crafty I'd love to do!
I started with cardmaking about 2,5 years ago and I was seriously hooked! The colouring is a huge part of my crafting time and I am beyond in love with my Copics lol! It is a huge honour to have been asked to join the Artbymiran DT as a guest this month and I really hope you will like my inspirational project - I am so proud of the colouring and making the card so that the colouring comes into the focus.

Hello everyone!  I'm always in awe of all the talent out there and this is the case of our next guest designer Lisa West!

Here is a little bit about this wonderful lady.

My name is Lisa and I live on the South Coast of the UK with my hubby, 5 year old boy and two year old girl. I have crafted on and off since I was a little girl, but have seriously been into papercrafts for just over 10 years and have been lucky to be published in a UK craft magazine. When I'm not crafting, which doesn't happen often, I love to cook, bake, garden, watch TV/ movies and spend time with family. 

So let's see what she created using the gorgeous Mia,  And she used the theme which was doing use cool colors.  And I have to admit that when I think of cool colors I do tend towards blues!

I am a native Portugal and I live in Matosinhos, which for those unfamiliar, is a beautiful and picturesque fishing town in Portugal with beautiful beaches.
Work as direction secretary since 2011 in Lisbon, but always make time for my favorite hobby ... I love painting and coloring pictures whether digital or rubber stamp and I specialized in painting with Distress Markers and Spectrum Noir Pencils, and my aim at the quality of many of the famous colorist…

Hi, I'm Becky, from cards by Becky. I live on the North East coast of England with my hubby, our two kids and our Border Terrier. My style has changed vastly in the past few years, but I think I have now found my niche.

Hello everyone!  We have changed things up a bit on the showcase blog and will now feature only 1 guest designer on the 2nd Saturday of the month.  For March we have the pleasure of welcoming Lena Hermansson.

Hi. My name is Lena and I'm so excited about being asked to be guest designer for ArtByMiran this month.

I love the images and love to color them (so does my daughter) <3

I live on the Swedish west coast with my husband and our four kids. We have three boys (17, 15 and 3)

and one girl (11). I'm currently a full time student and if all goes well I will be a teacher for grade

4-6 by the summer of 2017. I'm on my second year now so almost halfway there :-)

I've been crafting for as long as I can remember and started making cards around 1998-99.

I love to create and recently found my way back from a long time of almost no crafting at all.

Now I seem to find all sorts of old goodies in my stash everyday, while adding to it with new stuff.

Hi all!

I am a 35 year old Aussie gal living in North Queensland. I married the love of my life and best friend 16 years ago and have two lovable young boys who give me reason to get up each morning (sometimes good reasons, sometimes bad reasons). I have always enjoyed crafting activities immensely, but card making is a huge passion, I’m never likely to put aside!

I started working with digital stamps 3 or 4 months ago when I stumbled upon a website that offered colouring classes. While searching through the sponsors of these classes, I found “artbymiran” and became quite enchanted with Mi Ran Jung’s artistic designs!

It's difficult to pick a favourite image because I just love them all and am excited to see any new stamps released!

Guest Designer - Gloria Shirr - 2nd creation

Good morning, it's time for the 2nd creation of our 2nd Guest Designer for the month of January Gloria Shirr.

In case you missed the 1st post were we introduced her, let's learn more about her now:

My name is Gloria Shirr and I started scrapbooking in July 2011 and card making in October 2011.  I created my first scrapbook as a way to heal after the passing of my father in 2009.  I worked as a nurse all of my life, first as an LPN, then as an RN.  I raised 3 children, so I didn’t have time to express my creativity through art until 2011.  I was forced to resign from nursing due to my allergies to smells, which caused difficulty in breathing.  I joined Close To My Heart as a consultant in 2012 when  I fell in love with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  I love all the friends  I have made through my crafting.  I am in awe of Art By Miran digis and just recently discovered her rubber stamps through Whimsy Stamps.   I feel blessed to be chosen as a Guest Designer for Art By Miran.  My blog is  http://purpleglocreations.blogspot.com.
