Nora and Tessa play

I gave Tessa some play food to entertain her while I made dinner.

 Then Nora wanted to play too, and it seems convincing a baby she wants a different toy so you can take what she has is inborn

Nora is attempting to slyly remove the coveted play knife 

"What? She didn't want it. Really."

Charlie is reading a childhood favorite, the Boxcar Children, to me. I used to love those! 

Norysaurus

This morning, we were privileged to see the Norysaurus Pigtailicus in its natural habitat

She seems to have been eating blackberries

And has the tool to try and entice her favorite prey, Butterscotchicus

Beware! Norysauruses often cause stickiness and unexpected smiling

And got three teeth (2 top, 1 bottom, other bottom front coming soon)

My best friend is a poof ball, worn by a new kid. If only Owen wasn't terrified.

Airport

Lucy, Tessa, and I are visiting Aunt Kelsey in St. Paul. Lucy loved the airport and plane

Tessa rode. It was past bedtime but there was plenty to see

Lucy had so much fun seeing everything and pulling her suitcase

We stopped for a snack because we were early 

This was an amusing diaper change

Our flight wasn't until 8:30, but it still took awhile for Tessa to sleep

And Lucy didn't 

Seeing it all through Lucy's eyes made it so much more fun

Is it St. Bernadette? No, it's Charlie

For the last Faith Formation class, Charlie had to present on a saint and he learned about St. Bernadette, whom the kids love.

We watched a movie about St Bernadette. And Nora had this idea

If we have a Bernadette, we need a Mary I guess. He keeps saying "I am the Holy Mother"

Nory's godmother

We went to a baby dedication Sunday and I took some kids. They got to sit with friends and were happy 

Nora is so sweet and cuddly with people and has won her godmother over to toddlers ;)

The creepy eyes behind them are Julie's husband, so it's not weird

Rite of welcome

The church had a rite of welcome for the first graders as they prepare for their sacrament year

We went to the front and promised to learn about Jesus 

We blessed them and gave them a cross necklace. It was very nice.
