It's Official

The last 3 months have been pretty grueling for Sam. He's had to search out fellowship opportunities, apply, and interview while at the same time keeping up with all of his school work, church responsibilities and oh yeah... he has a wife and two kids!

But it has all paid off, because last week he received an offer from
Geisinger is the number 1 integrated health care system in the nation, and this has been Sam's dream job for years now. I couldn't be more proud of him. He's put in so much hard work to make his dream come true. He never really thought it would happen. He was actually online looking for more places he could apply to when he got the call from Geisinger! I thought it was pretty funny.

This is the hospital in Danville. The town of Danville has a population of 4,897...and the hospital employs 6,000. Crazy, right?

Sam showing off his official offer...or is he hiding from the camera?...probably both.

ooooooh...it feels like Christmas morning!

He of course signed immediately, and I did a happy dance.

I really am so proud of Sam. He has proven over and over again that he is a wonderful husband, father, and provider. It is going to be quite an adjustment moving from a city of 400,000 to a city of 5,000, but I know as along as we're together it will be an adventure!

***Note: Sam's start date is July 9th. He graduates on May 14th...so we will have some time to spend with family and go on a couple vacations! So excited...the thought of them will get me through the winter.

Shoes.

Lilly has got the fever...shoe fever. It hits most women and some men at one point or another. I haven't quite got it yet...thus the purple crocs. (Yes, I am aware they are a big fashion no-no, but they are so comfy to cut hair in...and then continue the rest of my day and/or week in!) But Lilly thinks they are awesome because she can always get them on. Next to them you can see Grace's favorite shoes right now. She calls them her slippers, because they obviously belong to a princess, and princesses wear slippers!! Cinderella's were glass, and Grace's are pink! "Because pink is my favorite!" as Grace would say...and does say ALL the time!
Could she be any cuter?

I don't think so!
