Hikes and Bike Rides

At lunchtime everyday Brandon would take the girls on a bike ride or a hike. They loved it and I loved the break. I love where we live. They would just go right behind our house or just across the street. I took the girls one day around the lake and they wanted to ride there bikes all the way home! It was long ride, with lots of street lights but it was a great time to let them just do it as I drove slowly behind them and coached them through certain situations without there being a ton of cars on the road. They did great!

Spa Day

The girls were working so hard in school so we came up with a list for "Fun Friday" things that they could look forward to if they did all their work. The first Fun Friday was a Spa Day.

March- Covid begins in Orange County

March was a weird month. The start of it was completely normally. In other places in the world Covid 19 was going on a I hardly knew about it and really didn't think it was going to affect us. But jokes on me, March 12 was our last day at school, our last day of soccer and gymnastics, and last day of being around friends. I went to Costco Friday morning because I had a feeling this was my last chance of going without kids and this was the line! Trader Joes, the same. Just insane. Anyways so here are pictures for memories in March of Covid. :) I knew if we were going to get through this the kids needed to have some kind of routine. We had St.Patricks day and the girls made a cute trap. We had morning workouts. Most of March workouts were inside because it was rainy. Dad got to bring all his things home and work from home! oh how we all loved that! What a blessing for me to have daddy home! We had home church for the first time. I love home church! I would be fine if we never went back. haha
We had about a week and then distant learning started. I was so excited, because I had always wanted to homeschool, and now I was being forced to. So I jumped in with 2 feet and just tried to have a good attitude about it. It was frustrating at first with 20 different logins for each kid, and trying to get the hang of it. We set up a school bookcase , the behavior chart they do at school, with me being the teacher with clips on me- they either clipped up or down, and of course daddy principal. Kennedy really struggled with ABC order. I was organizing our DVDs and Kennedy loves to organize so she did the DVDs in ABC order! Win for both of us. :)

San Diego Weekend

Spent a weekend in San Diego and it was SO FUN! We did Annie Canyon Trail, Waterfront Park, stayed in a hotel and watched American Idol, went to San Diego Zoo, and the San Diego Temple. We reenacted when me and B came out after being married. haha The girls LOVED the slot canyon hike in fact they did it twice. Waterfront Park was beautiful, with some very fun slides. San Diego is one pretty place.
