My Little Architect

I love this picture because it shows Ari's "black" eyes. I babysat this little girl a bit ago and she was talking to me and telling me that her eyes were blue and mine were brown and then she pointed to Ari and said, "and Ariana's eyes are black." It was so, so cute.
This is Ari admiring her creation. She looks so proud of her creation.

Grandma Jennifer's blocks have been a big hit for Ari. She is now the best architect around. This was actually the first thing she put together with those blocks and she was so funny putting each piece in place like she had to think everything through.

Little Ari brining a book for her Daddy to read to her. The look on her face is so priceless.

Christmas Vacation in Utah

The following few posts are all of our vacation to see my family in Utah. I know they are not the most recent pics of the babe but I will be doing those tomorrow, I just hate going out of order so you gotta take what you can get and deal with my weirdness. I like things to flow ya know. Enjoy!
Ari loves her Grandpa Steve and always wants him to hold her, even over me sometimes. We were able to stay with my Dad for a good part of the trip and it was just nice for Ari to get to be around my Dad and brother who love her so much. We so appreciate everyone being so open to letting us stay with them:)
Grandpa and Lola, Emily's newest little one. She is such a sweet baby girl and it was my first time meeting her on this trip. I love my little baby yoya and miss seeing her change in these first huge months of her life. But I'm paying Emma to tell her about her favorite aunt everyday so she won't forget me.

My mother is obsessed with D.I. toys and the grandkids love them. Ari didn't even know what to do with so many new toys around, and I am talking daily. I loved this pic because she looked like such a little girl and not my baby anymore, but we all know I will not be letting that happen anytime soon. She may be getting older but she is still my baby, it makes me sad to even think of that changing so I just won't.

Ari and her two friends. The one on the right is Pepper and the other is Deiter. Ari loves these little dogs and the chair in the background is an indication of how I feel about them. Just kidding, I do love them...sometimes.

Ring around the doggy. Good thing Pepper is so good natured because I am pretty sure he has been tortured by the kids more than once.

This was really Ari's first snow experience because last year she was just a tiny baby and this year we had yet to get any snow before we left NE so we had to wait to get to Utah. She was freaking out at first and kept trying to eat it but then she settled and realized she could only sit in it because the hill was so steep she couldn't walk around.

Ari loves being with her Daddy.

There they go!!
Now you can see why I was afraid, it's a huge hill.

Daddy & Ari getting ready to sled down the hill in Grandma Wendy's backyard. This was Ari's first time sledding and even though I was paranoid to let her go down, she had a fun time and Bobby kept her safe. Oh and Ari is dressed like a boy because the coat I brought would have gotten soaked so we borrowed and there were only boy clothes so we took what we had. We all had so much fun!!

Ari in her new dress from Aunt Amy and now "helping" Berkey with his new toys.
My little one with her teeth filled smile. I just love her sweet face.
Owie, Aunt Amy, Alex and the back of Tay's head:) We had so much fun opening gifts on Christmas day with all of our family.

I just loved this picture because Ari looks so happy and stinkin' cute in her new outfit. I actually hated this outfit when Amy showed it to me, but once Ariana tried it on I loved it on her. Thanks Aunt Amy, not only for this outfit, but basically for Ari's whole wardrobe;)

Here my baby is enjoying her new cups and watching something that must be very interesting. When we got to Utah Ari suddenly started wanting a sippy so I was thrilled and went out and bought her several types. I had been trying to get her to drink from a sippy forever but she simply wouldn't have it. She would literally throw it off her tray every day. It's amazing what totally thrills me these days. A sippy cup just makes life easier though, doesn't it? Less clean up for momma and the world is just a better place.

Our precious Ariana and her first "real" Christmas. She loved looking through her stocking to find fun stuff like a new sippy cup and spoons!!! I know, quite exciting.
I found this fabulous stocking at a cute, downtown shop and fell in love with it for Ari. I love little Christmas shops that have walls lined with crap. So fun to look through.

After Bobby got to Utah Ari was so happy to play with him again. I could tell she missed him and I was going crazy without him. We were all playing on the air mattresses Christmas Eve and trying to get them filled up for all the family that was coming to stay that night. Ari refused to get off of them and was having so much fun that we just filled them up with her on them and she would just lay there as the air pushed her up. Then she would try to walk on them after and it was so cute to watch her. She really has added immense joy to our lives and reminds us of the simple things in life that make it so incredibly meaningful. We are so blessed!!

I had been wanting to do something different with my terrible hair for a while but instead I just wore it in a clip every day and looked horrible. All I can say is thank goodness I am already married, which is a miracle in itself, and that Bobby loves me because I had bad hair months! So I thought about what I wanted and finally just chopped my hair off, with some persuasion from Melissa and Emily. It turned out better than I expected and it is short enough that I am now forced to do my hair. So all in all I would say it was a success. Not great pics of the outcome but atleast you get to see what it looks like and how much was whacked off. Thanks Melissa:)

My sweet Ari being goofy

M.I.A

I would like to say thank you to my little sista and my cousin Dace for giving me the motivation to come back and let everyone know that I have not died, just been absent for a little while. Seriously though, I took all these cute pics of Ari with a camera my dad gave me and left Utah without the cord to load the pics on the computer so there ya go. I just got it in the mail from my wonderful mother though so, without further ado here is my sweet, little girl all grown up!!! Oh, and we haven't yet decided who gets Ari in the event of our departure from this life so you better be nice to me Emma or you won't even be considered:) Love and miss you all.
Oh, and the "locking my blog" thing is still in effect but I just don't know how to do it so I will figure it out and get that done soon. Just in case any of you were wondering;)
