Christopher Bailey hosted an event in Taipei on april 26th, marking the beginning of Burberry World Live - a fully immersive, touring, 360° Burberry experience.
Guests at the event, co-hosted by Taiwanese musician Jolin Tsai, included Jessica (Girls Generation), Daniel Henney, Patina Lin, Sandrine Pinna, Edwin Ji, Ran Chen, Sandee Chan, Sunny Wang, Rhydian Vaughan, Tony Yang, Janet Hsieh, Annie Chen, Larisa, Stella Huang, Yi Chen, and Quin Yi Lee.
The multi-sensory experience, seeded at the Burberry Beijing event in April 2011, is the first to blur the physical and digital dimensions of the brand in front of a live audience, bringing to life the Burberry worlds of British heritage, fashion, music and weather.

Burberry`s flagship store in Taiwan is located at the Taipei 101 shopping centre, it is the biggest store in the Asia Pacific region and the first flagship store to carry the Burberry Beauty collection in store.
British materials and themes were used throughout the 14,800 square foot store, including giant digital exterior 9x5 flat screen LED video walls which enables Burberry to broadcast content into the store’s exterior and interior screens.
Available in store are Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit and Burberry Sport in the categories womenswear, menswear, non-apparel, eyewear, watches, fragrances & Burberry Beauty.

The Beijing store, located in the prestigious arcade of the Peninsula Hotel, hosts the women’s and men’s prêt-à-porter collections, as well as the accessories, eyewear, perfumes, time-wearand kidswear collections. The layout of the space has been specifically designed in such a way to emphasize the various product categories present in the store.
When early next year the two levels of the shop will be connected, the ground floor will be dedicated to womenswear while the basement floor will be dedicated to Menswear, and will also feature a special VIP room, complete with unique evening dresses.

Burberry has announced the opening of its first store in Sweden, on Biblioteksgatan 6 in Stockholm.
The 200 square metre store, situated over three floors, was designed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey and features British materials and themes. It is set in a historic building from 1900.
The new store will showcase Burberry London, Burberry Brit, and Burberry Accessories, including the following categories: menswear, womenswear, non-apparel, fragrances, timepieces, and eyewear.
To mark the opening of the store, Burberry will be hosting an event on 31 January 2012.

November 28, 2011 – Tom Ford, in partnership with Marion Heinrich, also owner of the new Marion Heinrich Store, opens his first retail store in Munich. The 1400 square foot, two-story franchised flagship store is located at Falckenbergstrasse 9, 80539 Munich adjacent to Maximilianstrasse.
The retail site will ecompass the womenswear collection including clothing, footwear, accessories, eyewear, fragrance and beauty collection under the TOM FORD label.
One enters the store to arrive in a world of feminine luxury. Tom Ford and long-time collaborator Bill Sofield conceived the light-filled and streamlined design to harmonize with the elegant, historic surroundings. The use of polished chrome and blue de Savoie marble that one sees upon entering at the Perfumery is continued throughout the entire first floor which houses eyewear and handbags. On the second floor, softer silver and grey upholstery makes the customer feel as if she is in a luxurious sitting room.

Since the creation of the Tom Ford brand in 2005 it launched sunglasses and the Tom Ford Beauty brand (in alliance with Esteé Lauder), which has produced six Signature fragrances and a full cosmetics line.
