Jace had his two week appointment on Tuesday, although he was really two weeks last Friday. He's gained 13 ounces from his birth weight, so now he weighs 7 lbs 14 ounces. He also has already grown 2 inches, putting him at 21 and 1/4 inches. The doctor said he must be a good eater. Which he is. A good eater and a really good pooper. It seems like he poops at least 15 times a day, maybe more (I suppose I could be exaggerating, but I'm not really sure because it seems like I change a poopy diaper almost every hour). He's also already really stubborn about not falling asleep when he doesn't want to. He will force those little eyes to stay open, even when I know he is exhausted. His eyes get all red and he gets very cranky but he will just not close those little eyes. But he is a good sleeper during the night. He wakes up at around 2:30 or 3:00 and then again at 6:30 or 7:00, almost like clockwork every night. He eats and then he goes right back to sleep. We're pretty happy about that.
