Great!
Sara just came up and hugged me from behind.
"Mom you're great."
"What, Sara?"
"Your a great mommy, mom."

Lunch
I've read about muffin-tin-lunches, but until today I hadn't tried them.
You fill a muffin tin with an assortment of goodies for lunch. I filled mine with apple slices, crackers, lunch meat, carrots, blueberries, pistachios, bananas, and cheese. If everything is relatively healthy, it doesn't matter what they eat. They will naturally eat a variety to get a well rounded meal.
Sara had MyMy and Andie over to play. When it was time for lunch they sat down and looked a little confused. I explained that we were not using plates today and that they could eat anything in the muffin tin. In no time at all they were digging in. They loved the variety.
There were a few apple slices and carrots leftover. I just left them on the table and within 2 hours they were gone too.

Princess Tea Party
This morning Sara woke up and told Bryan and I that she wanted to play with her friends. Bryan's brilliant solution: a princess tea party. We called several friends at 10:15 and invited them to come over at 11:00.
One huge difference between women and men is planning. I would have planned the party a week in advance and delivered invitations. I would have carefully planned the perfect tea party menu, and maybe even had some games. Bryan had Sara invite her friends over the phone, and picked up pizza at Little Caesers. Women complicate it, and men simplify. The princesses in attendance are as follows: Sara in Wonderland, Sleeping Mariah, Charlotte Mouse, Pink Brylee, Princess Reiny, and Princess Emma.

Cousins
"...but they're cousins. Identical cousins and you'll find they laugh alike. They walk alike. At times they even talk alike. You could lose your mind when cousins are two of a kind." - Theme song for the Patty Duke show
Dallin lives in North Carolina, but came for a visit after Christmas. We got the boys together for a playdate. Dallin is 3 1/2 months older than Blake. They had to share and take turns, but they did pretty well. These are the matching outfits Grandma got them for Christmas. Take note, it was next to impossible to get both of them to look at the camera at the same time.
