Super Cool!

We went Disco Skating with some friends. I know. We look super hot! The girls dressed 80's and the guys opted for the 70's.

We love Melty Beads!

Remember Melty Beads?

They are the little beads that you used at Vacation Bible School to make designs on a little peg board and then the teacher used an iron to melt them together.

Well, my kids discovered them and we wonder what we ever did without them.

Today I watched Kyle and Andie. After lunch we got out the Melty Beads and they played with them for 4 hours straight! Yes, I just said 4 hours.

Thank you, Melty Beads for entertaining my kids and for helping them perfect their fine motor skills. We will make many beautiful and colorful projects with you.

Silly, Working and Relaxing

Silly kids!

Bryan recruited Blake to help him pull staples out of this reclaimed wood. Blake loves to help his dad and he loves to work with tools, so the kid was in heaven.

Here he is hammering the staple.

Then he goes to get the pliers.

He tries to pull the staple out of the wood.

He needed to use the claw on the hammer to help pull it out.

I took these pictures from a distance and he had no idea I was taking them. Bryan said he probably pulled 40 staples out of the wood.

What a good little worker!

Blake decided he needed to bring in his camping chair to watch a show.
