Kindergarten, Here She Comes!

Where has the time gone?
Sara started Kindergarten today and the whole family took her to school. The PTA put on a
Boo Hoo Breakfast for the parents and their kindergartners.
Sara loves her Fairy backpack.
Her friend Evynn is in her class.
They were so excited to see each other.
When the bell rang it was time to line up to go into the classroom.

There goes my baby. . .
Sara, I hope you love your new teacher and that you learn many new and exciting things this school year.

The Children's Museum

They loved playing in the water. However, Sara didn't stay long. She wanted to go to the grocery store.

Riding the horse
While Sara shopped at the grocery store and worked to put items back on the shelf . . .
Blake parked it at the cash register.
He would even scan every item before giving it back to the customer.

They loved playing with these magnetic shapes. Blake was so proud of his tower!
It was so fun to watch Sara think as she was figuring out what she needed to make the shape she had in mind.

Park City

Bryan had a job in Park City so the kids and I met him after work for some family fun time. We went on the Alpine Slide.

Sara was so nervous the whole time. She was afraid to go all the way to the top of the mountain. She was afraid that we would fall off of the ski lift. She was not going to ride a sled down because it looked too scary. She was afraid of how we were going to get off of the ski lift.
She rode with me and I told her I would go slow. Once we got going she had a blast! However, she's not sure she wants to ride it again.

We ate dinner at the Red Banjo. Obviously we do not teach our children table manners!
They had to pose with every statue that we passed.

Cascade Springs

Cascade Springs is a special place for our family. It was here that Bryan first said, "I love you." Also, this is where he asked me to be his wife. We haven't been here with the kids since they were tiny. They loved walking along the trail. Every time we came to a placard they wanted to know what it said about the animals and plants in the area.
trying to spot a fish
Sara found the perfect spot for a photo.

Sara wanted to pose on this dead tree stump.
Stepping on rocks they made it out pretty far for this photo op.
However, Sara slipped . . .

Blake, the photographer, was quite the director telling them exactly what pose he wanted.

Sara fell in the water a few times. Unfortunately it looks as though she had an accident.

Sandy Balloon Festival

We met Emily, Asher, Kellen and Coco at the balloon festival for a picnic dinner. Blake was hiding under the picnic table's bench. Silly boy!
The kids loved watching the balloons being blown up.
