Swaps

Hello! I finished two SCS swaps tonight, so I thought I would quickly share them with you before I sign off for the evening. The first card (above) is for Sam's Big Shot Sizzix Die Swap. I used two SU/Sizzix Dies (Top Note and Hearts & Brackets). The "U" stamp is from Big Deal Alpha (which is my favorite Alphabet Set) I also added a Filigree Brad in the corner, and some Pink Pirouette striped ribbon

The 2nd swap card I did today is for my friend Cheryl's Riley swap. Most of the Bicycle Riley image is colored with Prismamarkers. The Bike is colored in with SU Markers. I used Basic Grey Cupcake DP on most of the card. (I think the bicycle DP is perfect for this image ~ LOL). I added Red Riding Hood Striped SU ribbon & Some Basic Grey Cupcake Brads on top. The sentiment is from a GINA K Set called Tag Lines.

SASI Triple Challenge

Hello! Still working on SASI Challenges.....For this card I combined three of their challenges into one card - paper piecing (#3), soft colors (#9), and a sketch (#6). I was a little worried about how this would turn out with all the layering I did on the main panel, but I'm happy with the turn out. The paper pieced image is from Gina K Designs (Retro Boutique)

StampTV Sketch Challenge

Here is a card for another challenge that I worked on Friday. This is for this past week's sketch challenge over on StampTV. I pulled out Sandy Claws (Gina K Designs) for this card. It's not really traditional Christmas Colors but I like how it turned out. The sentiment is from Gina K's Tag You're It set. I use the sentiments in this set a lot.

Good Morning!

Hope you all are having a fantastic labor-day weekend. This is one of my favorite weekends of the year - college football is starting, the leaves start to change color. I just love cool, crisp mornings.

Anyways, I'm hoping to be doing A LOT of posting this weekend, as the blog for Taylored Expressions (Stamp a Sweet Impression) is having a birthday celebration. There are THIRTEEN challenges posted. So this is one down, thirteen to go! LOL!This is challenge #2, which was a sketch challenge. I totally love this halloween cuppie! He's so cute!

MOJO 102

Hello! 

I found this Penny Black stamp at my local Archiver's over the weekend, isn't it cute? It works perfect with this week's MOJO sketch. I'm not really big on Halloween in general, but I love making Halloween Cards! 

More info on the card : I used K&CO Halloween Paper (Designed by Tim Coffey ~ love his stuff!), the sentiment is from a Hanna Stamps! set, and that pretty flower was RAK'd to me (I think it's from OTC). I took the photo on my patio, to get some natural light for a change. I think I'll be taking photos of my cards out there more often, at least until the snow starts flying!
