Another Stamp TV Challenge

Here is another card I made for the May Gina K Release challenges over on StampTV, which was to use Red, Yellow and Blue as the color combination. I used Gina K's Lazy Days of Summer Set. The color shades I used were Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, and So Saffron.

I also used this week's sketch from Taylored Expressions! I omitted the brads at the top and the bottom, but i think it still works!

Thanks for looking!

MFT Challenge

Hello!

I created this project for this week's MFT Weekly Challenge (5/11/2010) which was to either:

Use markers, die inks or tea staining to age or antique any part of your project

OR

Use any Die-namics Die to add a textured effect

I'm so happy about how this project turned out, although as her Auntie, I think Miss Tavi looks adorable all the time. For my project I sponged some green cardstock with Certainly Celery Ink to give it a little bit of an aged look. The the Striped DP In the background and the circle in the middle of the flower is from DCWV Nana's Kitchen, the DP I used for the girls' paper-pieced dress is from October Afternoon's Ducks In A Row. The polka dot DP I used for the flower petals and the photo border is from My Mind's Eye - Twinkle Twinkle Little Girl. The stamped image is from MFT - Pure Innocence Fairy Girl. The flower bling around the border is from KaiserCraft, and the Chipboard frame, jumbo brads, and ribbon are all from SU. I also used some spica glitter pens on the image, which was colored in with prismacolor and copic markers. And finally, the chipboard letters are from Paper Studio.

A close up of the MFT Pure Innocence image is below:

Congrats Grad ~ MFT Challenge

Hello all, quick share tonight, this is my entry for this week's MFT Challenge which was a sketch. I used the MFT Pure Innocence Book In Hand stamps for this challenge. I still love using the Stampin Up Sellabration DP from a few years ago! It's great for spring cards!

Have a great night, and Happy Mother's Day!
