Graphic 45 Tag with Gift Card Holder

Hello Hello!

I'm still playing with Christmas papers and stuff! I figured Christmas last 12 days so why not? And I still have all my Christmas goodies out.  I had so much fun creating this I am already working on another one that is valentines' themed.

Anyway, I made this gift card holder based off an idea I saw HERE on Pinterest.  Kathy designs for Authentique and previously for Graphic 45, two of my favorite companies! I just love her style. Anyway. I used all Graphic 45 papers (a mix of a few Collections - mainly St. Nicholas, but also some Christmas Emporium. The big tag I cut/designed my own base for as I didn't have any larger tags at the time. The large tag base measures about 7" by 4". The ribbon is from my stash.

Here is the inside once it's opened up:

The left side has the pocket for the gift card holder, while the right side has space to write a greeting or message.

TMS - Anything Goes

Hello Hello ~

Welcome to this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge! We have NO SKETCH this week so it's an Anything Goes theme! Super easy for you to create anything - stick it on your blog or social media account, and link it to the Tuesday Morning Sketch Blog where you will be eligible win the prize package shown on the blog (or a $15 Gift card to your favorite store if you are international)

It's also the 18th of December, which means it's time to reveal our image for the Unidentified Image swap on Splitcoast Stampers! I am the hostess this month, so I picked out the image which is an Elzybell design. There was a reason why I chose this image. My dear friend Donna who passed a few months ago was a huge penguin collector. I think at one point she had over 320 penguin ornaments on her tree. As a small tribute to her, I picked out this image and asked the swappers in the group to make birthday cards (her Birthday is January 7th). They each made 4 cards using this image, and sent them to me. I swap them out and they each get 3 back. The one extra (which I get to keep) I am going to donate to the Ronald McDonald House near me. The cards i have received so far are amazing! Just waiting for a few more to come in and then I will swap out. Some of the ladies have been very generous by donating all 4 of their cards (getting none back) or making a few extras to send along to the Ronald McDonald House. I am sure they will be used and appreciated!

In addition to the Elzybell image, my card has patterned paper and brads from October Afternoon and Red Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget you can find more fun projects by viewing the rest of the DT blogs. (Links on the right side of my blog).

TMS #483 - Season's Greetings

Hello Hello!

It's Tuesday, so it's time for another challenge with Tuesday Morning Sketches!  I interpreted the sketch a bit "loosely" this time around, as I wanted to continue to make some Christmas cards :)

I used some retired DSP from Stampin Up, Snowflake dies from Amuse, and a sentiment from an older Amuse set. the silver ribbon is from Stampin Up too!

Here is the sketch for this week:

TMS #483 Filed with Peace

Hello Hello!

It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge!  I created a more simpler card this time using the Peaceful Poinsettia set from Stampin Up! The patterned paper is Graphic 45 from my scrap stash, The HollyIvy image is colored with Stampin Blend markers from SU (love these!) and cut out using my Scan-In-Cut 2 then popped up with dimensionals on confetti white panel.

I may recycle this sketch a few more times before Christmas for some personal Christmas Cards. It's so versatile!
You can find inspiration from the rest of the Design Team by checking out their links on the right side of my blog!

The sketch is right here if you would like to try it out!
