Cassidy's ONE
I survived a year with 5 Children! Cassidy turned ONE yesterday. Many things were neglected (like this blog), put off until later (remodeling), went unused (like our Harley) while enjoyed raising Cassidy up to be the cute, little toddler (not yet walking) that she is today. She is still way too attached to Mom (aka- nursing), is a picky eater (loves Ramon noodles but not much else), but LOVES to drink water (nothing else) from a sippy cup (NO bottles). She loves to mimic people especially when anyone laughs or more recently - clapping. She loves to go outside or play with the girls, climb the stairs or ladder or anything else she can find to climb. She says Dad and dog and Mama and Yea. She babbles other things but I'm not sure if any of them are actually words yet. She is finally napping better (not just nursing to sleep) and I'm loving a few hours of free time.

Dance Competition
I never made the time to upload the zillion photos that I'm behind on from my blogs neglected months.
I'm working on invites to Morgan's birthday party and a few other projects I'd like to complete in the next month.
But I thought I'd post this video that Morgan's dance teacher made from pictures she took at the Showstopper Dance competition that Morgan's team competed in. It was a long day of sitting around for Cassidy and I while we waited for Morgan to dance in 2 numbers. But Morgan enjoyed the time dressed up with tons of stage make up and hanging out with her teammates.
Hopefully this link works.

Tubby time
She was so cute in the little tub today and acting so grown up!
I have so much to do and catch up on but I still managed to waste most of my morning browsing craft blogs looking for vinyl projects and silhouette tutorials. I bought a silhouette craft cutter and am excited for the possibilities. Our first project after I hooked it up last night was Morgan's valentines.
It was awesome how quick and perfect. And they turned out cute.

Blogpress
So I found a new app today so I can blog from my iPhone. So here it goes . . .
We are home today with a sick baby. She is starting to sit up really well and is happy rolling and playing on the floor. (except for today). She is 5 1/2 months and I'm so behind on everything! Hopefully I'll catch up on this blog eventually.

2010
Time to sum up last year. Here we go...
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Walked on a frozen lake (behind our house)
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't really make resolutions or at least formal ones that are written down. Some goals that I had in mind were kept but most were not. I have more in mind this year and many are the same - like reading scriptures regularly and catching up on blogging, scrapbooks, pictures.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
besides myself- just 3 nieces one of whom lost hers and my heart broke for her.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Only the good old US of A.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
a computer room/ office that is organized and doesn't contain a jumble of costco folding tables and plastic file cabinets.
7. What dates from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 17th - the day I gave birth to my 5th baby and 4th girl- Obviously it should always be etched in my memory. Hopefully December 20th (our anniversary) - for the first time we actually stayed in a hotel on that date to celebrate our 14th year (Spokane - Davenport Hotel). Still did that usual anniversary date though - Christmas shopping and out to dinner.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Giving birth to another healthy, beautiful baby girl (Cassidy)
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not getting my pictures organized, edited and printed. Not going to the temple enough -again!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
luckily no other than too much heartburn while pregnant
11. What was the best thing you bought?
iPhone 4 - although I didn't ask for it - I'm so glad Cameron bought it for me. I LOVE my smart phone.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I'm pretty lucky to have fairly well behaved and loving children so their behavior was nothing out of the ordinary.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A few who shall not be named. But occasionally I thought I should give myself a stern talking to about my behavior at certain moments.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Our new house.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Having my pregnancy over and before that - taking my kids to Disneyland with my whole family. (might have been more excited if I wasn't 8 months pregnant)
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?
I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas
21. Did you fall in love in 2010?
yes- with Cassidy and again with Cameron for being the fabulous husband that he is . . .
22. What was your favorite TV program?
I watch too much TV - we discovered some really good shows on USA- like Burn Notice and White Collar. I also liked watching dumb shows like Vampire Diaries and comedies -Modern Family and the office (sometimes both are so wrong but funny). I continued to watch too much reality TV - like the housewives, Top Chef and Project Runway.
25. What did you want and get?
a large flat screen TV for our family room.
26. What did you want and not get?
office furniture, DSLR camera, new computer
29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Enough money to decorate my house how I imagine it could be. But I am very happy to have a nice home in a nice neighborhood so I can't say I was really unsatisfied.
30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Maternity clothes most of the year, fat clothes the rest of the time. I'm sure people think I have to many Harley shirts (along with Cameron). I wore much the same as most years though. Jeans, Tshirts and flip flops (weather permitting) and heels when dressing up.
31. What kept you sane?
watching mindless TV, naps and date nights
32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Although I probably know too much about celebrity entertainment news - I can't say I really fancy anyone the most. There were too many that really disappointed me - like Lindsey Lohan.
33. What political issue stirred you the most?
Same sex marriage, health care reform- although I prefer to sit back and listen to others get worked up over them - I do have my own opinions.
34. Who did you miss?
Seeing my extended family more often. Getting to rid on the Harley behind Cameron this summer (he said I was too pregnant and wouldn't let me ride).
35. When you think about 2010 what sticks out in your mind?
Giving Birth again - one of my least favorite deliveries (Morgan's was probably the only one I liked less), starting our life in Moses Lake, and Disneyland/ California Adventures.
36. Best moment of 2010?
Having Cassidy join our family.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
I met lots of new people this year since we moved to a new city. My favorite one has to be Kari Sherrill. Though both Cameron and I have said we're lucky to be in a ward (LDS Church) where there are so many fun couples to pick friends from and we could have a good time hanging out with so many of those.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010.
life lesson? - not sure if I learned anything new - maybe relearned to just relax and not let things bother me.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.

a) Happier b) Fatter c) About the same (although our neighborhood makes people think we are richer)
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
playing with my kids, organizing my house, blogging, excersizing
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
snacking, watching TV, dishes and laundry (I doubt that will ever happen for MANY years)
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Christmas 2010 was spent at home with my own family and my parents. It was pretty quiet after a fabulous morning of opening our spoils

23. What was the best book you read?
I read a lot of books this year - The best? Maybe the Hunger Games series, Potato Peel Society or . . .?
24. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I'm not sure I had one- I listen to a lot of Top 40 kind of music. I have satellite radio in my car and listen to Sirius Hits One the most. So whatever is cool and new I hear there first. Glee songs were always fun along with the above mentioned songs. The girls (who drive with me a lot) - discovered some favorites and love to sing along. We listened to a lot of Disney artists like Selena Gomez, Miley Cryrus and Justin Bieber (not that he's a disney artist just played a LOT on disney radio)

27. What was your favorite film of this year?
We saw very few movies this year without our kids. Disney's 'Tangled' was fun to go to with Rebecca and all our girls.
28. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went to playgroup with my girls at a friends house where they served cupcakes for me and I got an ugly shirt tan/burn. Then 3 of my old friends (Debbie, Staleen and ShaRee) came for a late lunch at my house. Debbie stayed with her girls afterwards and I took our boat out for my first time by myself to take our girls tubing. That evening when Cameron was home I invited Kari and her family to come tubing with us. Sadly the boat decided to break and left us stranded in the middle of the lake - our hero Cameron swam us back to shore. I turned 34. When did I get so old?

Blessings
While I still am having computer trouble (most importantly - it won't upload my pictures from anywhere other than if someone emails them) and try to avoid it at all times. I don't want you to think I've left the blogging world either.
This past Sunday we blessed Cassidy at church. I loved her outfit and had Debbie come over this week to take her pictures since we didn't do any on that crazy, busy, fun Sunday.
My mother knitted her booties to wear.
And although I picked out the dress online my mother and sister Melisa picked it up for me at in outlet in Utah.

I love that Debbie captured her new, precious smile.
And her peacefully sleeping . . .
And looking like a doll . . . .
and just looking so cute!

Now tomorrow we will be celebrating Cameron's 37th Birthday! Too bad I can never buy him what he wants so instead he gets a card! But he knows I love him anyways - I think.
