New York Weekend

We went to New York for the weekend to see a Yankee baseball game. Everybody relax....we aren't traitors. We just wanted to see Yankee Stadium. We rooted for the Pittsburg Pirates, but they lost. It was a really fun weekend. We actually ended up staying in a really nice hotel in Stamford, CT and then riding the train into the city. Josh did surprisingly well--he even nursed on the train (some of you know that is quite the feat for him).

Notice the wet drooly shirt. He actually has a little rash on his chest from so much drool. His shirt is wet like this within five minutes. If I put his pj's on him too early I end up having to change him again cause he's so wet. I don't know maybe it's just a boy thing.

Riding the train, and loving it.

Josh has been doing this for awhile. He grabs his binky and pulls it out of his mouth. I don't think he realized what he was doing at first, but now he will pull it out and then get it back into his mouth sometimes. Josh has quite the grip too. It takes some muscles to get something out of his hands.

Yankee Stadium

The stadium is very different than Fenway. It is much bigger and really steep. Ben and I started to get worried in the 6th inning when people were carrying their beer down the steep stairs.

A little ridiculous...

So if any of you are thinking...aren't they moving why is Cassi posting every other day? It is true we are moving, but I am doing anything I can to keep from packing. It is a bit overwhelming, mostly I just don't know where to start. Our move is scheduled for the 20th, yes of this month, so really I have to get going. Oh but it is so fun to post cute pictures of Josh.
My friend Tamera took these pictures today and they turned out so cute. Here are a few...
Mom and Joshua.

I absolutely love this funny face.

"High to the Moon".... One of Cameron's cute sayings. I love Josh's arm up high in this picture. After Cameron's passing and while I was pregnant with Josh I quilted this bedding for the nursery. It was my first quilting experience and it turned out really cute. I did a quilt, bumpers, dust ruffle, and mobile. Maybe I'll have to post some more pictures of it all...

We got a few smiles on film.

This is Josh's favorite thing to do right now--grab your fingers, put them straight in his mouth, then bite with his gums.

Playtime

Josh is really fun right now. He is figuring out how to use his hands and put things in his mouth. I swear a tooth is coming...he bites so hard. Tigger is his favorite toy right now. It is perfect size to hold and stick in his mouth.

Staring down Tigger--and a little cross eyed. Josh always wins the staring contests.
This is a new favorite trick, which Joshua usually does while I am changing his diaper. He lifts his torso off the ground with his legs.
