Sawmill Canyon
Sat. we spent time working on our basement. Micah put Jackson and Makenna up in the spot where we are going to put a flat screen TV. We almost have all the walls framed and have started to sheetrock. Our goal is to try and have it finished by this summer. We also took a break and rode the Rhino up Sawmill Canyon. We went as far as the snow would let us go, which was almost to the top. Then we stopped and played in the snow.

Sick kids
Well we have already started out this year with a really bad cold and the flu. It is nice to finally all be feeling better and not just laying around. Although I haven't been able to catch up on my sleep, since I have been taking care of all the sick and am crossing my fingers that I don't get the flu. I did a lot of extra laundry this weekend and it is good to see Makenna(who had the flu) up and doing things this morning. Jackson and Makenna still have a slight cough, but I can handle that.

Snowmobiling
While we were in Idaho we went snowmobiling. Makenna enjoyed riding on the snowmobiles. When I was finally done and cold, she wanted to keep going, so uncle Quinn stayed out with her a little bit longer.

Happy New Year
We went up to Idaho to my grandma Esplin's for New Years. We made sure our kids had a nap, so they would be able to stay up for the new year. Also, while we were in Idaho we went to Rexburg and went snowmobiling at my Uncle Brent Esplin's home. I will post pictures of that later, since the pictures are not on my camera, I will have to get them from my mom. I hope that you all have a wonderful 2009 year.
Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas. We celebrated with our little family in the morning and then went over to Micah's parents home and celebrated with all of his brothers, sisters, and their families. We were able to go to all the grandparent's homes throughout the day. Once we were done in Lund, we drove to Ely to my parent's home for the rest of the day. Once we got to Ely it started to snow and snowed the whole afternoon and evening. So we ended up staying the night at my parents home. I know that there are a lot of pictures of Christmas, but I had to put some from each house we went to.
First our house:
Now we are at Micah's parents home; Jackson and Makenna got backpacks full of fun things that went along with their bags. Jackson got spiderman things and Makenna got barbie/princess things.
Now we are finally at my parents home in Ely:
Christmas Eve
I am finally updating my blog after the holidays. So I will start with Christmas Eve. All of Micah's family were here for Christmas so we put on a play about the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Almost everyone had a part in the play and they all dressed up. Then, we went to the church for the kids Christmas party. Jackson was a wise man for the primary program and then he and Makenna got to see Santa. Of course, Makenna screamed when we put her on Santa's lap and Jackson was excited to see him.
