sleep

I love it when Kaylee falls asleep all on her own, which isn't very often. I also don't know how she can sleep with her older siblings playing all around her and making lots of noise. Plus Makenna hitting Kaylee's head with her knee as she poses for this picture(Kaylee only cried for a few seconds and then back to sleep and mom was upset at Makenna for not being careful, but everything is okay now)

3 months

Kaylee is now 3 months old, which means I start back to work next week. At least I am only going to be working one day a week. I love my field of work and how I can choose my schedule and when I want to work. Kaylee has started to be mobile. Yesterday I noticed she started scooting on her back. I had her laying down on her back under her toys and next thing I notice she had scooted to where the toys were at her feet, she was loving it and just kept on moving. I am not ready for her to be moving around. She is also starting to grab at her toys that hang down from her play centers, and her bouncer.
Last night, Micah finished making our animals a home for them to sleep in or on. Jackson and Makenna helped design it and were excited to see the animals use it.

Thanksgiving and five generations

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We stayed here in Lund and we had 5 generations at the dinner table. I took a picture of all the kids at their table.
Of course I needed an updated 5 generation picture.

Micah's mom, Jeanne, had sent me an email about grandma's hands and how they took a picture of 5 generations of hands, so I decided to do the same for each of my children.

More bows

Look at what I have been doing when I get some free time. Bows!! I love making them and since I haven't been working I have had a lot of time. I also love seeing my girls wear them.
As you can see I have made butterfly bows,
dragonfly bows,
korker bows,
big and little flower bows,
and can you guess this one??

Great, great, grandma's

Thursday we got to spend some time with grandma Hendrix. She is 106 years old. I thought I had better get a picture of Kaylee with her great, great, grandma, because I hadn't taken one yet and who knows how much longer she will be around. She is living here in Lund right now with Micah's grandparent's.
Earlier that day Micah was trying to get Kaylee to wear those wax lips, this was the best picture I could get, because everytime Micah let go of the lips they would fall off her mouth.

Picture Time

We were in Utah this past weekend for doctor appointments. Of course I try to fit everything in when we go out of town, so I scheduled to get our pictures taken. NEVER do pictures on the same day that your baby gets her immunizations. I knew we weren't going to get any pictures of Kaylee smiling, so we tried to get sleeping pictures with Kaylee, but anytime we sat down, Kaylee would SCREAM!! Jackson and Makenna's pictures turned out really good, but I wasn't very happy with Kaylee's. I guess I learned my lesson not to try and do everything in one trip. Of course we had to do some fun pictures

Later that same day, Kaylee was soooooooooooo good laying next to her cousin Katie, who is 3 weeks older.

My newest hobby

Since having Kaylee I love putting bows on her head with the headbands and even Makenna has been wearing more in her hair, so I decided to try making them myself. Here are a few that I have finished and I found instructions on how to make little bug bows, butterflies, ladybugs, bumble bees, dragon flies, & korker bows(the ringlet looking bows). I actually have a lot more bows that are ready, but I have to find flowers or buttons to put in the middle of them. So I am going to start looking for all colors of ribbon, buttons, and flowers and start a new hobby of making bows
