our BIG First Grader

Si Habla Espanol

Yes, Boston is officially in 1st GRADE and totally LOVING it! He is also in the new SPANISH Immersion class which means that 1/2 of his school day is taught in Spanish. It is a neat program that is new to our school this year. Boston will be in the immersion program through 6th grade, and by then he will be speaking it fluently! He thinks it's pretty cool that he and his friends will have their own SECRET language! I was very nervous for it all....school ALL DAY, LUNCH, the whole SPANISH thing, but he has adjusted so easily and LOVES it all. It's AMAZING how much Spanish he has already LEARNED, way to go Buddy!

Hiking San Rafel Swell

Totally DESPERATE to get out of the rainy weather in May, we took a quick CAMPING trip to Southeastern Utah for some great HIKING!

Our FIRST time seeing GOBLIN VALLEY, that was seriously so awesome and we had a BLAST HIKING all over the GOBLINS

Then we HIKED one of the SLOT CANYONS, that was amazing to see! Eventually we had to turn around when it got too narrow and Navie's pack wouldn't fit through!
It was so nice to get away and actually see the SUN!

HaLloWeEn...and a lost tooth!

Every year Boston has to be some random occupation...this year, a FORREST RANGER!
Where in the world do you buy a Forrest Ranger costume??
So this was the best I could do! Gotta LOVE him :)
And this is our cute little WITCH!
Our Toothless Boston thinks he's pretty cool now that he has lost his 1st tooth! He was pretty brave to let Dad pull it out...and sooo excited to show all his friends!

BiRthDaY GiRl

We spent Navie's 1st Birthday in Arizona with Corey's family. It was so much fun watching her tear into her presents and play in her cake! I can't believe how fast time really flies. She is always so happy and has so much personality and we feel so blessed to have this sweet little girl as part of our family!

HaPpY BiRthDaY Navie girl!

Mission Accomplished!

We've been on a mission this summer....a mission to teach Boston how to ride his bike without training wheels. Anyone that knows Boston, knows that he he is so cautious and is afraid of EVERYTHING! Every night we would go out to practice and within 10 minutes Boston would be crying and Corey would come peddling down the street on Boston's bike so mad. It was the biggest joke! So after months of total frustration, we gave up and put the training wheels back on, and being the great parents that we are, we told Boston that he'll be 15 yrs old and still riding his bike with training wheels. (that was nice of us!) Well, one day Boston got his old bike out, that is way to small and started practicing. After a few days, he started peddling and off he went! I couldnt believe my eyes, I am still in total shock! So after months and months of BLOOD, SWEAT, and lots and lots of TEARS...mission accomplished, Boston can finally ride his bike! Hal-le-lu-ya!

WAY TO GO BOSTY....we are so proud of you!
