Guest Designer - Liz Cavill

Today we have the lovely Liz Cavill as our Guest Designer

I was delighted to be invited to be the Country View Challenge Guest Designer for September.  I live in the West of England with my hubby, Alan.   I was an Infant school teacher in a former life, a job I loved, but I'm now happily retired.  When I was teaching, I ran an after school scrapbooking club for over ten years with my Teaching Assistant, hoping to inspire the next generation.  All the children were 6 or 7 years old and they created some amazing scrapbooks.  I have always enjoyed crafting, something I inherited from my Mum.  In the past I've enjoyed knitting, sewing, cross stitching, patchwork, cake decorating, making corn dollies and scrapbooking.  For the last 20 years or so, card making is what I enjoy most.  My style is generally CAS, although I sometimes go out of my comfort zone and get really inky and messy!  I belong to a local craft group which meets once a month and it's always fun to craft with friends.

The image is a Lavinia stamp, 'Guinevere'. I made the stencilled background with three shades of Distress Inks.

Wow Liz, a beautiful project for our September theme Under The Sea and using Lavinia Stamps was a bonus as Country View Crafts are now stockists of these stamps. Thank you so much for taking part

Tall tales and Fish Scales

Hello there! Rachel here today to bring you my second inspirational piece - another collage canvas for me based around a photo my daughter had taken at Center Parcs this summer. She just loves mermaids and jumped at the chance to be one.... I have taken her photo and made an underwater collage using it....

Hello everybody, welcome to September!
For the underwater theme this month I made some ATCoins. My problem was - I have no stamps for a sea theme! So I had to draw some fishes by myself.
