“Patriotic” Bookmark

Top Tip: Okay I am sure many of you know this but for me it is my first encounter of this problem.  I have never had problems getting my dies out of my spellbinders but today the “Parisian” one gave me such a fit.   So if you do not know yet if you turn the die over and poke out the holes with say a pin it loosens everything right up.   I had one last piece of dark blue that I wanted to use but due to the problem I had to use light blue.  Still looks okay I think.

“Homecoming” Bookmark

This bookmark is a gift to celebrate a homecoming very soon. 

Top Tip: when you are punching and you need to make sure both side are equal or match take a pencil and mark on your punch where you started the first side and use that to line up on the other side.  This bookmark is folded in half and sandwiches the page so it was important the scallops lined up.

“Sassy in the City” Miranda Card

Sassy Studio’s is having a challenge every couple days and if you participate you get a free image that they send you.  The theme is “Sassy in the City”, I have done “Sassy Samantha” and “Sassy Charlotte” and now “Sassy Miranda”.  The challenge was “No Nonsense, Keep It Clean and Simple” so this is my entry.  I used the sketch from “The Pink Elephant” and doodled her dress to make it look like a zebra print (first time I have ever tried it) and I made the dimensional buttons but other than that I kept it very simple.  No flowers, not a lot of glitter or swirls.
