Yesterday was the big day, we took my younger brother to the M.T.C.

It was harder then I thought. For my older brother it was still hard but he was older then me but for Mark he is my younger brother so its totally different ha. He is going to do a great job. Before we dropped him off we stopped by the Provo Temple and took some pictures and then we still had a little more time so we pulled over to another parking lot close to the M.T.C. and gave our last good byes and we all lost it. We all started to cry and Libby was hysterical haha but it was sweet of her. The way how you drop them off is alot different then how we did it 4 years ago with my older brother. Its like you kick them to the curb now but its a great way to do it, just get it over with I guess. Well I think Mark will be in the M.T.C. for 3 weeks then off to Alaska!!! I will try and keep you updated!

Skiing

Skiing the other day was great! Daniel did alot better then I thought haha. The first part of the day I skied and then then second half I snow boarded. I love them both. But I had a blast at listening to Daniel ski down the Mt. haha he was so funny!!! We had a great time but I am sad that I did not take pictures.

I was trying to upload a video my dad took but it is not working so maybe later. I hope!

Mesa Verde

On our trip home to Kaysville Daniel and I stopped and went to Mesa Verde. It is in Colorado but in the corner so very close to Utah. I went when I was younger but we thought it would be fun to go. For those of you who do not know what they are they are Indian ruins and they are amazing!!!

I love going and seeing things like this. It is just so crazy to me and I just love it, but what makes it the best is that I am able to do all of these things with Daniel.

I have been really bad at taking pictures lately but I promise starting tomorrow I will be better! My dad my older brother and Daniel and I will be going skiing tomorrow and I cant wait ! It is going to be a blast!

P.S. We got home from California early this morning at like 1;30. It has been raining non stop there so we did not end up going to Disney Land :( but we still had a great time!

Baby Its Cold Out Side

Last night Daniel and I went on a great walk but the only thing is that my ears and head was freezing! So this morning I decided it was time to make me a hat, so I got to work and came up with this.

And if it looks like im tired its because I just woke up from a nap haha

I then made some cute flowers that I can change if I want,

Crocheting maybe weird and pointless to some but I find so much joy in it and I love seeing what I can create and make. There are so many things I want to make but just not enough time haha. I found some other great patterns for hats and Daniel is really wanting me to make them for him haha and its funny because they are like little kid hats. I just love it that he likes to wear the things I make for him. He always looks so cute and I just Love him so much!!!

Break time

Today is my last day of work! I am really looking forward to my nice little break of no work. But it will all start up again when we get to Texas. Which I wont mind we will be by family so im excited and im not as stressed as I was because things are starting to fall into place and everything but im still worried about getting lost and everything haha but I dont think that will ever change!

So everyone in my family has had braces except my dad. The newest braces wearer is my littlest sister Libby Lue!

She is growing up so fast( she is 13 now!) and so cute! I just love and miss her!

.....Lately.....

Lately Daniel and I have been very busying doing a little of bit of this....

Packing!

Yep Daniel and I are moving! We are moving to TEXAS! We are both so excited to be moving closer to family but I am sad too that means I will be moving even further away from my family. Daniel has decided that he just wanted to get to Texas and finish up school there he will not be playing football but he will be able to get threw school much faster with out football so that makes him really excited! Daniel will be going to school at UT Tyler and Tyler is about 45 min from Gilmer were Daniel is from. So we are excited to be by family. It is really starting to set in sense we have been packing and im starting to get a little scared haha. I love Texas but were we will be its a big area and im not good with directions so im sure I will be getting totally lost for a good little bit haha good thing we have a GPS. We will be moving to Texes the first part of January! But we are packing everything know because we will be leaving for Utah Next Monday and then we get home and then off to Texas!

We are so excited and (me a little nerves haha) but we just cant wait till we can get to Utah and then Texas!

So Texas here we come!

Christmas Break!!!

Ok I just Cant wait for Christmas Break!! Daniel and I spent Christmas with his family last year so this year was my families turn. Daniel and I have my cousins (Amanda and Chris) wedding we will be attending on Dec 17 and then drum roll please......... We will be heading to California for a family trip before my younger Brother Mark leaves on his mission and great adventure to Alaska! But wait there is more! We will be going to Disneyland!!! I know I am a grown up but I cant help my self I am so excited to go to Disneyland I love it there!! Now Daniel has never been and he has really been wanting to go so this is going to be a blast!!! The kid in all of us will come out! And it will be great because I have never seen Disneyland during Christmas time so this is just going to be amazing!

Daniel and I like to watch to food channel and last night Guy ( off of Diners, Drive ins and Dives) was doing a show there at Disneyland During Christmas Time and it just made us so excited! We cant wait.

And During the Christmas break Daniel and I are going to go Skiing/Snowboarding. I Grew up doing both and if I say so my self I can hold my own on the Mt. Now Daniel on the other had has been like 3 times but he is always saying he is an Athlete so he clames he is great on my Mt. as well. So I guess I will just have to see for my self because I dont really think he is as great as he is making him self sound haha just saying. But it will be a blast to beable to go with him!!!

Christmas Break Please come fast! And That the Weather will be good when Daniel and I have to trave to Utah.... Please and Thank you!

Ok so our friend Bryn came over last night and was saying that he was going to get his hair braided tonight, well it just so happens to be that I am a pro and braiding hair. I have grown up braiding my younger sisters hair. Both Daniel and Bryn were shocked to see the finished product!

It was great to see some of my friends and We also had some friends come visit who just got home from there missions but yes I did not take Pictures. But it was great to see them all And i love them all but most of all the stud in the red!! So handsome!!!!

life is going....

alright so much has happened and I have just been putting off blogging about it. but today was the day.

Alright so last wednesday i had surgery and i was really scared and nerves for it I had a

D&C ( I am hoping it will get easier for me when i see friends and random people pregnant that i will not just break down and cry, we will see i guess) and if your not sure what it is you can look it up ( sorry i just don't want to explain it). So I made it through the surgery just fine or so we thought. I was still hurting really really bad days after and they said I would be able to go back to work the next day. then on friday we made our way to Utah and we stayed with one of Daniels brother and we then went to the BYU and New Mexico game on Saturday and man it was freezing! my arms and body felt like it was all hurt bad because i was shacking so hard. it was a great game for BYU but not New Mexico and we got the tickets from a friend on the New Mexico team (he is the quarter back)then on sunday we came to my house in Kaysville and had a blast. On Monday Daniel and I went to Cabelas to look for a christmas and birthday gift for him. no it will not be a surprise but i will get pictures soon. then on tuesday morning around 2 i woke up and i was hurting really really bad and a little bit latter i was in the ER. No worries i will spear you all of the great details and i am doing better but still not 100 % back to normal after the surgery. today is Thanksgiving and i am so grateful for my husband and family and the priesthood and everything!!! we will be going back to Colorado on sunday but tomorrow we will be doing family pictures and i am hoping some shopping!!! we have no shopping by us its it 2 or more hours away to find the nearest target so we got nothing by us. so i hope we go shopping!! i will add pictures later on. but sorry this is rushed oh yeah one more thing Daniel and I have been painting my little sisters room so i hope we can finish before we go!

News.......

I guess this news could be bad and good. The Lord sees the big pictures and knows what is best.

Daniel and I found out last week that I had a miscarriage. Daniel and I were very sad when we found out, but you never know this could be a blessing but we will never know I guess.

I will tell you the whole story, So last thursday I went in for my 10 week apt and we were both really excited because we were going to hear the heart beat. So they pull out a sonogram and they found nothing then I started to worry then I had an ultrasound and that is when they told us that I had miscarried. The baby was around 9 weeks in size so it happened so a little bit ago. its just crazy because around 9 or 8 weeks I just had a feeling that I had miscarried but I was totally calm about the whole thing I did not tell Daniel or anyone because I just did not want to believe it. It has been great to be able to talk to my sister in laws and family that have gone through the same thing it just seems to help.

So it looks like the Lord has a different plan for Daniel and I right now and we will move on and be just fine. Im just so glad that I still have my sweet and amazing husband. He is my rock and I cant imagine going through this with anyone other then him. He is my best friend and when we are able to start our family he will be the best Daddy anyone could ask for, I can tell you know that he is going to be know as the fun parent haha.

We both cant wait till it will be our turn to try and start our family again!

Almost Done

Alright so I am so lucky that I am able to watch Daniel Play football! But I will be so happy when this season is done haha. I know that sounds so bad but I miss my husband!!! He is gone more then he is at home. I am so great full that he does play football and that he is so wonderful at it but it is my turn to have Daniel back the football team can wait till next season or spring ball I guess haha. Daniel only has 2 more games left! I am really looking forward to Daniel and I having our Sundays together again. On Sundays Daniel has lifting and practice and then film so he is gone alot of the day. Now I dont want this to sound like i am complaining I just wanted voice my feeling about The football season coming to an end haha. I am also very excited that he wont be traveling till next year! I am not a fan of being home alone but I really get scared when he is traveling and on the road and I guess Im like a little baby haha oh well. It also hard that we dont have family close by so i am just all by my self when he is gone. But I will live I guess.

Halloween!

Last year my mom and my sisters and I dressed up for Witches Night Out in Gardner Village. It is a fun filled night of shopping eating and looking at everyones outfits.

Well my mom decided she was going to make us some witch outfits! She did an amazing JOB!! She says she is not crafty but thats all a lie she is so crafty, Just look at our costumes!!! We also had a Friend make our hats! they are so fun.

So I was really sad that i was not going to make it this year but looks like my family did not make it ether. My mom told me it was raining like crazy all day.

Witches night is great and a totally blast I hope that i can go with my mom and sisters next year or some year soon!!!

My mom is so cute!! She loves Halloween!! and she knows im not very good at decorating so she ended up on mailing Daniel and I some adorable Halloween decorations. I have missed being at home during Halloween she always would make it so much fun!!!

I hope that next year and the years to come I can start making Holidays super fun like how my mom has made it fun for us!!!

The Greatest News!!

So for those of you who do not know I am pregnant!! (or how Daniel likes to say I am with child haha that just reminds me of the movie the Back up Plan.) We are so excited and so blessed for this opportunity to become parents!!! The lord is truly blessing us so we can take care and raise one of his little ones.

On my side of the family it will the first grandchild and on Daniels it will be number 36 haha Daniel and I are guessing there will be close to 50 grandchildren on the Dodd side haha. I am almost 8 weeks along and have been sick as a dog. But im totally ok with it just as long as Daniel keeps holding my hair when I throw up haha. We cant wait till June 2!! That is my moms Birthday so we are hoping June 2nd will be the lucky day haha. I will keep you all updated on everything!

Dodd Project

A few weeks ago when Linda and Melvin were visiting Linda and I went to a thrift store to check it out and we came upon a small dresser thing. It was really sad looking but when I say it I knew that Daniel and I could fix it up so we got to work!

When my parents came the last weekend my wonderful mom pick out some fabric because we have nothing here in Alamosa. She also picked out some really cute knobs. My mom and I picked out a color that we like and started our project!!

Daniel and I had A great time working on this project together! i Love it that is is just and crafty and that we can work on stuff like this together. He is so cute when he is working on art things too haha he always sticks his tung out to the side and he is just so focused haha i love it!!! I just love him so much!!!!

GREAT Weekend!!!

Alright so my parents were able to visit Daniel and I this past weekend and it was great!!! They got to Alamosa on Friday night we went out to dinner and we had a great time!!! The next day we went on a walk around the campus while Daniel was doing football things. But anyway I was so glad that my parents were able to come.

So then we went to Daniels game and it was Homecoming and they had a great game!!! they won 55 to 0. But Daniel had a great game!!

All in All it was a Great weekend! Im so glad there were able to visit. Its hard when Family is so far away so it is really a treat when we do get to spend time with family!

Papa

Tonight Daniel and I got a call from Daniels older brother Joe. He told us that Papa was in the Hospital and took a turn for the worst (papa is Daniels grandpa on his moms side) No joke right after Daniel got off the phone with Joe he got another call from Jacob Daniels other older brother saying that papa just passed. It happened so fast!!! Papa you will be missed. One story about papa that makes me smile was Christmas last year and something to the effect that he would not put his pants on because they did not say his name on the tags of his pants so we went through and cut out all of the tags.

New Hat

So i have been crocheting like crazy lately. Daniels football buddies have been paying me to make them a hat or ear warmers. I have been loving it because it give me something to do when Daniel is gone at Football meeting (which is a lot but that what i get for marring a football player) But so the other day Daniel decided he wanted a new hat so he picket out the softest yarn and i worked my magic. And im happy so say that he loves his new hat! he is at a football meeting right now and is showing it off as we speak haha.

the Weekend

Last weekend there was a home game for Daniel and this parents planned a big trip to come visit for the weekend and come to the game.

the weekend was great Linda and Melvin got in Friday night and left Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday Linda and I went to the farmers market and went to a thrift store ( it was great i got a great rolling pin for a dollar). At the farmers market Linda got i think 100 lbs of different potatoes haha she is so nice and sweet! it was great because she was just going to give them to all of the kids. So we have a lot of potatoes.

Also Daniel and I have a fun new project ahead of us. While we were out at the thrift store i found a really cool dresser thing. It is not big or anything it is a great size! Daniel and i are going to totally redo it and make it new and improved! im so excited!! when we get working on it i will do some posts.

So then we went to the game and Daniel had a GREAT game he was number 3 in most tackles. I love being able to watch him play! it is such a treat for me!

The next home game is homecoming (October 9th) Some of my Family is going to try and come up and visit and see our cute little place and watch Daniel play! I really hope they are going to be able to make it!
