i can never quite get over how absolutely sweet max is while he sleeps. his tousled hair, little eyelashes and pouty lips, they KILL ME! the other night i decided to sneak in his room and photograph him using only the light from the hallway, and i'm so glad i did. it was REALLY REALLY dark so i had to jack my iso WAY up and my shutter way down, not to mention this was shot at 1.4 with MANUAL focus, so that's why it's really soft and grainy. but i lOVE it. i want to always remember him this way...

my friend and fellow photographer kelli took a few pics of us at the fair tonight, and i would like to report that we all survived! poor kelli, she had a seriously TOUGH task at hand. max got to the fair and wanted to go wild, danny just wanted to go. as in leave. my boys are no easy pair to photograph. danny had to leave early so kelli snapped a few of just me and max on my camera- i LOVE these ones. thank you thank you thank you kelli!!!! i can't wait to see the rest.

seattle, how i love thee.

first thing this morning i am off to seattle to shoot a wedding and some senior portraits, followed by a much needed VACATION sans child, in sand point. hot dog. i can't wait!

and since i need to promptly push those photos of myself toward the next page of my blog, let's watch max, talking about his name and being generally silly. enjoy.

what, ME? in a PICTURE? no way. i feel so lucky i got to do my very own CRAVE session with my friend andee from CRAVE PHOTOGRAPHY! she did such a good job, and you know, i think we all deserve to feel pretty and play model once in a while. right? and let me just say, danny was pretty much psyched about these. he wants to know how fast we can get prints. haha! anyway, check out andee's blog to see the rest! she posted lots and lots. =)
