Pete and the rest of the Purries have been adjusting well to life here in Florida. They're back in a routine, and have found the desirable places to nap. Pete prefers the lower level of the cat tree when I'm in the living room, and on a quilt by the window when I'm in the office. The problem is, those are Daphne's two favorite napping places, also. But Pete and Daphne don't fight over them, it's just a matter of who gets there first. Daphne's on the quilt as I type this, and Pete is in drinking out of the fountain.
Pete still loves chasing Isis, and sometimes she plays along and other times she pitches a hissy fit. Isis sitll likes to groom her brother Pete, but when he tries to groom her, she holds his head down and licks the top of his head. She definitely prefers to be the groomer, not the groomee!
All in all, the Purries seem happy here, which makes me happy. I'm still looking for that job that will pay for rent and Temptations, but I know it will come.
Have a great Monday,
NTM
