With autumn in the air, there are leaves aplenty to inspire us. 

This week I'd like you to: 

Make leaves the prominent feature of your card - in all their lushness!

There are so many possibilities - whether rich autumnal shades, something a little festive, or creatively using leaf dies or stamps to create a seasonal wreath.

Whatever leaves you go with, we look forward to seeing your creations!

On or At the Ball

 

Happy Friday!

It's Kathy here today and first up we'd like to say a big thanks to those of you that joined in with the challenge last week

I'm soooo not a football fan but here in the UK you can't get away from knowing that (unfortunately😞) the football season has started! So this week I'd like you to work with the phrase

 On or At the Ball

However, you don't have to make a football themed card!
Believe it or not, there are actually other ball games you might feature, or you could add a beach ball, or throwing a ball for a doggy friend
OR how about a different kind of ball altogether?
Meat balls, gumballs, high ball glass, disco ball - you could even create a fabulous ball gown, or a 'Strictly' style ballroom extravaganza!

Welcome to the Daring Cardmakers blog

It's Kathy here this time and on behalf of the DT wanted to say thank you to those who joined in with the Butterflies and Bees challenge last week - we so loved seeing your beautiful cards!

  September Elemental Inspiration

As it's the first Friday in the month it's time for an elemental challenge.

The too-short days and cold weather last way too long for my liking so I can't let go of Summer yet!  There's a hint of Autumnal shades in my mood board, but I think it still has a Summery feel - to join in just choose a minimum of three elements to inspire your card. If you choose the colour palette that would count as one element!

For instance, the layout, squares and rectangles, wood texture, flower arrangement, vase/containers, drinks, mosaic, fruit, wheels...

This weeks challenge is nice and simple!
Just create a card with one or more numbers on it!
Maybe for a special occasion like a birthday or an anniversary.
A Little 'Un about to start school, or perhaps a 'Well Done' for someone who's just passed their maths exam!

Hello, Happy Friday!

 Welcome to the, Daring Cardmakers! 

Thank you so much for joining in with our Summer Lovin' challenge last week, we hope it made you feel all warm and happy!.

 House and Home

Just use the phrase to inspire your crafting this week!  
Perhaps a house, bungalow, apartment....igloo?
An animal's home - nest, hutch, den?
You could make a New Home card.  
Or go inside & feature a room, or something usually found indoors
such as a sofa, desk television, food mixer....

Wherever the phrase "House and Home" takes you, we'd love to see!

Summer Lovin’

Hello, Happy Friday!

 Welcome, Daring Cardmakers card makers! Thank you so much for joining in with Shabneez's beautiful mood board challenge last week.

It's Kathy here today hoping you're up for a new challenge:

Summer Lovin’

Do your thoughts turn to love, hearts, kisses & lovey-dovey things in Summer? Having needed two Wedding Anniversary cards last month my crafting has been full of hearts and kisses and ‘lovey-dovey’ things! 

But there's so much to love about Summer - lovely long (hopefully) sunny days, barbeques and picnics or long lazy lunches in the garden of your favourite pub!There are trips to the beach or lakeside and other favourite places to go, or if you're lucky packing your bags and heading off on holiday. 

Or seeing your garden in full bloom, and maybe enjoying the fruit and vegetables you've grown all by yourself!So, let’s celebrate Summer Love this week - for the people and things we care the most for - or all the things you love about a glorious Summer day.

We can't wait to see what you make!
