Our Big News...

Yes It's True we're going to be Parents:) We had a little surprise back in April and are Soooo Excited, scared to Death but Excited too :) These pictures are of the night I told Derrik, it was hilarious because he was SO SHOCKED! So, I had it all set up before he walked in and for dinner we had Baby Back Ribs, Baby Peas, Baby Red Potatoes, you get the idea, Lol. Anyway It seriously took him Forever to catch on, I even made a big sign that said "We're EGG Specting" but apparently he didn't see it:) he just thought I was just doing a little special Easter Dinner before we took off for our Busy summer in Texas. Then he FINALLY saw his Easter basket filled with Daddy and Baby things, his face was Priceless, it was all pretty surreal!

I told him we had to take pic's with girl and boy things and this is what he did... little Stinker!!!

This is what we have been up too for the last 3 Months :)

Lol, I have become very close with this certain piece of "Home Decor" if you will:) Approx 20 hrs a day and 7 days a week! I didn't stray more than a few steps away from my Bed, Tub, or Toilet and on Occasion even the ER! Oh what fun Pregnancy was for the first 3 months at our house, I just had to keep telling myself It will all be worth it in the end:)

When I was 18 wks we went to find out what we were having before I headed back to Utah for a few weeks for my Doctor Appt's. I made Derrik right down on a piece of paper on what he thought he/she was before we went in to find out so we could open them after and see who was right.

So when the ultrasound tech was getting started she said she would get 2 looks before she would tell us what it was for sure. Well about 2 minutes into it she said "Okay I got my first look." then we were watching the baby do toe touches and tickle its little toes (SOOO CUTE) It made All the throwing up and hard days worth it! Anyway, then she kinda gave it away and said "Oh look how cute, see the way SHE is covering her face." We both looked at each other like ahhhhh SHE???? And then I couldn't stop Smiling all day:) I guessed wrong and Derrik guessed right, he said he kinda had a feeling (not that he really thought he was right) but he said for some reason he thought she was a She:)

We found this on the side of the freeway on our way home after we found out and figured it would be a perfect way to tell our Family :) I mean seriously, who just has a GIANT Pink Yard Bunny??

We couldn't be more Excited, even Derrik can't wait to be Outnumbered:)
