Mom's Day in K town!

The kids just Waking up on Mother's Day. We spent the weekend at my Mom's and everyone came on Sunday to spend the day with her. I love when we are all able to be home at once. Korbin had to hold Berkley for a minute to test it out. He wasn't so sure at first:)  

I Love having a baby the same time as Ang. So fun to dress them all up together and have little photo shoots! I'm pumped for when they want to play house and barbies, they might have to fight me off so I don't join them :) heehee

We had to get a picture of them all together for Grandma since we have a few newbie's in the fam. Cutest Kiddo's Around!

Brady and Ashley were so good to play with the kids Forever out on the front lawn at my moms. They did gymnastics, played tag, bucking bull, etc. The kids were lovin it. We all eventually came out and joined all the fun and snapped a few pictures.

Fresh Air

Hiking Zion

In April Derrik and I were in serious Need of some outdoor time! With his surgery we were cooped up WAY too long indoors and needed some fresh air! So we decided to pack a lunch and head to Zion! Since Daddy was broken I decided to take the "heavy" pack and made Derrik Hold the apples :)he lives a rough life!

She was So pumped for her first hike. We couldn't believe how many people kept stopping us to see the babe and the tourists were Lovin that we had her out in the Great Outdoors! She was SO intrigued with all the trees and landscape it was so cute. She was a trooper and didn't make a peep all day!   

We had to go up to our favorite spot at the lookout. It is SO Quiet and peaceful up there we Love it!

On the way back to the truck she zonked. All tuckered out-:)

Oh Yeah and when we were leaving we saw this ugly thing. Walked right up to it and it wasn't even scared! Ick, I think this little goat has seen better days :)

6 Months Old

Can it really be possible she is already 6 months old... gosh where has the time gone? Here is a little update on her

- At her 6 month Checkup she was in the 48% in her Weight, and 97% in Height.

-She LOVES little kids, she will just sit quietly for hours and watch them play.

- She won't sit up by herself yet, she just lays on her tummy and lifts her arms and kicks her legs as fast as they can go-SO CUTE!

-She started army crawling a few days before her 6 month mark and is getting to be a pro at it now. I try to contain her while we are out visiting Daddy and yesterday she escaped... little rascal:)

-She is the BEST traveler and has been an angel in her car seat...Knock on wood!

- She is Very Vocal, and Loves the hear herself talk/yell! A few weeks ago Derrik was watching her and I came around the corner where he couldn't see me yet and he was talking to her asking "So are you going to be one of those girls that talks everyones ear off?" :) We Hope So!

- She is NOT a crier! In fact the first time that she was up screaming in the night for any other reason than she wanted her bottle was just shy of her 6 month checkup. It was 1:00am and I was just getting out of my nightly tub and ready to snuggle down in my bed for the night after working on my mom's surprise party, and all of a sudden she started SCREAMING! It kinda freaked me out because she Never has done that. I brought her in with me and after a minute it was pretty obvious her mouth was hurting her :( We were up till 3:30ish and she finally fell back asleep. The next morning when we woke up I brought her in with me and felt in her mouth just to check and BOTH bottom teeth popped through :) They are Oh So Cute!

-She hated her first taste of baby food, loved the rice cereal at 5 months but those green peas and green beans, YUCK!

- She Lights up when I turn music on and dance for her. I think it might be more laughing like YIKES my mom is Nuts, either way it makes her happy and that makes me happy!

- Her favorite Toy is Sophie the Giraffe:)

- She loves doing workout videos with Mom, and even insists I pick her up during them at times. With each lung she giggles and I cry!

- She LOVES Boys already. It's crazy she really does act different towards guys its hilarious. She gets super bashful and ducks her head as she looks up and grins at them. Wow are we in for it one day :(

- She Loves being outside.

-Her most favorite thing ever right now and will make her stop crying in a split second is a "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" video on YouTube! Wow its a heavenly 2 minutes and 34 seconds. I wish Mommy could have that type of an affect on her :) She grins SO big for the Owl its hilarious!

- Tubby Time is her Favorite. I'm about to resort to a wetsuit while bathing her, those long legs can Splash!

- Hates to Snuggle (unless exhausted). LOVES to be held.

-She Loves to swim now...thank goodness!

- Loves our daily stroller rides.

- Is Fascinated by Elevators.

-She Always wakes up SO Happy, when she knows we are about to come pick her up you can hear her legs going Wild with excitment- Best way to start off my day:)

- She is So very Pleasant. Has the cutest little personality already.

We are so excited to keep watching her grow and see what fun things she does these next 6 months!

-Piercing Miss B's Ears-

Derrik and I debated back and forth on when to do this. From the time she was born he was all for it and asked a few times when I was planning on it, so when he asked a few days before he had to leave to Omaha for awhile I decided, What the heck! I most definitely was NOT going and doing it without him because I was too chicken and knew I'd back out once I sat her in the chair. So we called her Pediatrician and asked where was the best place in town to go. Yes I felt like a bad Mom for about 2 minutes, but once she got her bottle and was over it in the 1st minute so was I :) We were so glad they didn't get red or bother her at all after that, Yay! They look SO CUTE and I'm glad that we did it when she's young enough she won't remember because I'm still traumatized from when I got mine done at 10 years old! haha

Happy Girl- this smile melts us :)

-Berkley's 1st Swimming Experience-

Boy was this an experience. Umm let's just say she isn't a big fan of the pool:( She was fine for the first minute, then when the kids came running by and splashing and I moved her out of the way she started Wailing. I'm not sure if they scared her worse or if I did? Poor girl. She was fine once we got her out and watched everyone else play. Who knows maybe she'll be a fan of sunbathing instead of the actual pool? Hope so :)

 At least her floaty got some good use from her cousin Nyxon, he is a little Fish!

We had her try it again with uncle Dev and she liked it much more, but by then it was nap time!

 She was all tuckered out after all the crying and fell asleep on her Dad's lap.

These are some pictures of her 2nd swimming Experience about a week later... turns out I was right and  all she wanted was a little snack and to lay out beside the pool like her mommy :)
