Carter Weekend: Day 2

We got together on Sunday for a potluck lunch in the park.  Snapped a few pictures.  We are missing 2 of us, but everybody else is there. What a crew!
Me, Kym, Malissa, Trina & Lindsay!
All of us, just walking along!
Josh's mom wanted some pictures of the Carter boys and her kids together.  This was the crew that ran around together.
The pictures speak for themselves.
What a bunch of hippies!  It had to be fun to live their neighborhood.  Check out all the kids on that slide.  Glad I wasn't Maggie!
Piper and her daddy with Popsicle tongues.
Me and my beautiful girl!
Awww, I love them a lot!  I am so lucky!

Carter Weekend: Day 1

Some of our very favorite people just moved to Georgia.  The only good thing that came out of it, was that we all got together to spend some time together before they moved :(. Saturday was beautiful and we got the kids together at the splash pad to hang out and have a picnic.
Look at all those kids.  We must be crazy!
It was so warm and so nice.  The splashpad was packed!
 Micheal and JD playing boats.
After the water we headed over to the Carousel to take a spin.
 Goodness, she's pretty!
 And he's stinkin' cute.
Took a little break and then got together for dinner at Kym's parents.  After dinner we went outside and watched the boys, both big and little play War Ball.
 JD, Aidan and Adam.
Josh was so sore the next day from throwing.
 I love this picture.
I like this picture too.  Josh and Aaron. It will be weird not seeing them together all the time.
Cute Micheal!  I want to eat his little cheeks!
Piper and Quinton were playing gold and Piper was teaching him how to hip bump.
Aidan, Josh and Quinton!  It was such a fun day for the kids and it was so nice for us to be able to hang out and visit.  We have some awesome family!

Blue Angels

For part of JD's Christmas present this year, Grandma Becky & Granpa Scott promised to take him to see the Blue Angels when they came in March.  Tyson was just lucky enough to go with him!
I didn't go, but the boys had a blast!  They were so excited and chatty when they got home.  They were out there for 8 hours and loved every second of it.
Once again, JD was in heaven!
 Such a curious little mind.
 Awwwwww..... cute boys!
JD got to sit in a tank and they were able to watch a World War II reenactment, which made him extremely happy!
 Tyson checkout the machine gun.
 Happy kid!
JD looks like is about to burst from happiness in this picture.
 So cool!

The last 2 pictures are just a couple of the good shots that Grandma was able to shoot with my camera.  It is very cool.  I wish I had gone, but maybe next time!

Camping with the Scouts

JD and Zarek got to go camping with the Priests a few weeks ago, because Josh and Robert were the leaders.  They were in heaven being able to go and hang out with their dads and the boys!  They had a blast throwing snowballs at the YM, climbing in the Honeycomb rocks and looking at Crawdads.

Miles For Molly

So we have a teacher at our school, Mrs. Dixon, who has a cute little daughter named Molly that has Williams Syndrome.  Their medical bills have been astronomical, so the school decided to host a fun run to help make some money to offset costs. It was hugely successful!

Here all the cute little kiddo's waiting to start the 1 mile fun run!  Tyson in his beanie!
 Waiting some more!
At the start line!  Let's get this show on the road.
On your mark, get set GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, I'm back!  That was quick!
Crossing the finish line in 5 minutes and 20 seconds!  Incredible!  The kid is so fast! Of course he won!
Kaitlyn came in right behind Tyson.  She had told us she was going to pace herself to him and she stuck right with him.  Good job guys!
Aunt Kris, Aunt Maggie and Tyson after the girls finished the 5K.  I think there are enough runners in this family, that I don't need to join :).
