Christmas Party Fun

Spent the morning hanging out with this crazy crew! We did the party for the entire 3rd grade. We made pancakes that looked like reindeer and watched Christmas movies in our jammies!

I was so grateful I could go and be mom. It's hard having a full time job and trying to maintain the balance my kids have always had of having me volunteer and be around. It was a great morning and I am so glad I could share in it with them!

Lego League

Today was our first Lego competition.
 This kid was so excited!
He's kind of like the team captain. I don't know how to explain it, except he always fixes the robot.
So grateful that he has an outlet he can use this creativity. He is so amazing with Lego's and the things he builds. I have no doubt he will grow up to be an amazing engineer or working for Lego!

Choir Concert

Look at my little Miss!  She looks to grown up in this picture. Shelley and I took the girls shopping for new dresses for this concert because it was being held at the college with the their music department. How cool is that?

Cute girls!  They all did such a good job singing. It made me tear up a little to hear them sing Glorious. So grateful for these best friends!

Christmas Band Concert

Jd doesn't particularly enjoy band. He's kind of a funny boy.
I think he enjoyed it more at Lava Ridge. But he's played 3 instruments in 3 years, so it's been kind of crazy.

 I caught him sleeping.
And he didn't care. He went back to sleep.
Jd, Baylee and Camden! Good times at the Christmas band concert!

Family Pictures

 Piper, 8 years old

 JD, 13 years old

Tyson, 11 years old

Just a few of my favorites from our family picture night with the Dovers. We went up to Grafton to take these pictures and had a blast. Love these people with all my heart!

Run Run Reindeer

The kids all decided to run the Run Run Reindeer this year in order to help raise money and toys for a local charity.

JD killed it and came in 3rd place. Somehow I missed getting a picture of Tyson at the end :(.

Piper and Addison finishing strong. I can't believe they ran the entire way.

Piper and all her friends. Meagan, Addie, Emma, Piper and Addison.

Tyson's Magical birthday

This boy turned 11 on Wednesday. How did that happen? I can't believe he's that old. He is the sweetest guy. He melts my heart. We had a family dinner on Monday night at Golden Corral.

I outlawed Lego's and then I turned around and bought him some for his birthday. Grandma got him some too and he got a few sets from friends. He loves them. They are taking over our house!

I typically don't do birthday parties after 10, but he wanted one so badly. I let him pick a few friends to go to the movies and out to lunch with. Such a good group of friends. It was a fun afternoon!
It was also his magical birthday since it was 11. He got his owl, his wand and his Hogwarts letter! If only it was real!

Best friends and Santa

How blessed is Piper, to have such a wonderful group of friends?

Shelley and Andrea took them on a sluff day and they were able to go to the Dickens Festival and spend the day shopping and having lunch. I was so sad to be working!

They were able to visit with Santa and they think he was the real Santa. Piper told me he had a twinkle in his eye. So grateful for these beauties and love them all like they were my own.
