Update on Our Girls

Our little Elise playing Peek-a-Boo. She is a little comedian and absolutely loves to make people laugh!
Our little goggle girl! It's already been hot here in Texas and we've really been getting use out of our pool, especially since I'm about ready to pop!

Melia tried on my wedding dress, that made Dean cry! Melia loved dressing up in my "Princess Dress." With the dress on she said, "Mom now I just need to find a prince." I just can't believe how old she is getting.

Here's Melia all dressed up for her Dance Recital! She just loves to dance and had a blast all year dancing in her class! She told me, "Next year, I want to play baseball like daddy." Dean was excited by her comment and she mentioned to me today the same thing.

Baby Boy on His Way!!

We're expecting a little BOY, July 7th! We are way excited!! Can't wait to meet the little squirt! It's always fun to finally meet them! Hopefully I'll actually update my blog sooner next time and share some pictures of him with all of you!

WOW!! What a Summer!!! Highlights

We had a spectacular summer. We did soooooo many things and had sooooooo much fun!!! It was especially wonderful to spend a lot of time with our families whom we love to pieces!! Please keep in mind, these are only highlights of our AMAZING summer fun. Melia after her cousins birthday party at Libby Lu's. For all who don't know Libby Lu is all things girly, sparkly and pink. Melia got to dance, pick out a pet (stuffed animal of course), get her hair and makeup done and, most importantly have a blast. She still after 1 1/2 months refers to that awesome party!!
Melia and Brandon riding their horsies as a cowgirl and boy.
One of our several trips to the beach!!

Melia tubing for her first time with Brooke and Loa. She was a little nervous at first but after a little warm-up round with mama, she absolutely LOVED IT!
The pictures got a little mixed around and I don't want to redo anything. But this is Melia's side view of her Libby Lu hair do.

We had a blast at Lake Gregory with the Gunnell's. Here's a shot of Kelly and Melia having fun on the paddleboard!!
Elise getting use to the Lake.
Korrin and I on the Agua Cycle at the lake. I really wanted to try this out and eventhough a 1/2 hour seemed like a short time, my quads had quiet a workout.
Alyssa and I on the Aqua Cycle. Alyssa and Korrin took turns riding with me. At one point during the ride we saw a Bald Eagle, that was pretty nifty, it was a first for me.
Elise and good old cousin Josh, spending some quality time before they headed back to MN. We hope to see you soon!!!

My family and I went to Sutter's Mill. The babies hung out while the rest of us went panning for gold in the American River. My little nephew Sam, actually found some. He was stoked!!
Janae taking care of Melia, she's such a sweetheart!!! It's always nice to seem them interact and have some one on one time together.!!!
Melia is doing her famous COOL trick. Well actually she refers to it as one of her dance moves!
Devin with Elise while on our walk by the Gunnell home. That walk is always fun, especially with family!
We didn't quiet get Melia to the bathroom in time. We walked a long way and there were no bathrooms to get to quickly. Man oh man she really had to go!!!

Uncle Davey, Elise, Dean and little Savanna! The newest addition of the Gunnell family. As you can see, Elise is excited to have her here too!!
Some down time at Grandma and Grandpa Gunnell's house with cousins Korrin and Joshua.
Our native born Californian and obviously surfer girl!!
Daddy and Melia at the beach. Hun, you're a hotty!!!
Swimming at the pool at David and Katie's place. Korrin, Dean, Melia, Alyssa, Davey, Dallin and Josh.

There's this really cool place that has a ton of things to jump around on called Bounce-U. The kids had an absolute blast. Melia, Loa, Brooke and Hailey.
Melia chillin and eating a tasty drumstick. YUM!! She sure makes that look good!
A picture at Sutter's Mill with Hailey and Eli.
Melia pouting. It's sad, but doesn't she looks cute!?
Dean and I hacking off some wood like they did in the good old days!! Gives you some appreciation for those chainsaws!!

Elise under a magnifying glass at a Science Muesum in Sacramento, CA.
Ellett, Eli, Melia and Brandon. She had fun hanging out with the boy cousins as well as the girls!
This was at Fairytale Land in Sacramento, CA. We thought it was appropriate to take a picture in front of "There was an Old Lady Who Lived In a Shoe"tribute with my mom and her grandchildren. She only has seventeen!
Faith and Melia in Cinderella's coach, of course!

Vicki, Elise, Kimee and Kari at the Bounce-U. There were even things for the babies to bounce on!

Sedona, Arizona Trip

Dean
Dean earned a trip to Sedona, AZ through work. We had a GREAT and Relaxing time. It ended up snowing while we were there but that was ok. We both enjoyed two AWESOME full body spa treatments and let me say, it was sooooooooooooo nice.
See Dean with is phone up? David requested he be in the picture and he is. These twins are inseparable.
We watched a professional "Hoop Dancer" he did the most amazing things with these five hoops. He's a four time Hoop Dancing Champion and was quite incredible.

Elise making herself comfortable at the Hotel.

Little Elise happy as can be
Elise was the star of the trip.
Sedona is known for it's beautiful red rocks.

Elise and I just playing.

Dean and I dressed up for one of the nights out.
