Britney Spears

So yesterday as I was walking to class this girl that used to be in one of my classes asked if I wanted to go to Salt Lake with her and I asked why and she said to go to the Britney Spears concert. I said I would think about it and I talked to Eric and he said sure. So me and the girl go to Salt Lake for the concert. It was scary because it was raining really hard so the roads were almost like ice. Well we made it to Salt Lake safely and get to the Delta Center or I guess the Energy Solutions Arena where the concert is at. We ended up sitting in different spots because we got our tickets at different times. The Delta Center is one of the scariest places because the seats are set-up really high and I am scared of hightes.

So this is the view from my seat before the concert started and the opening act was the Pussycat Dolls. They were pretty good. So occasionally throughout the pictures there will be peoples' heads in the way. There were these two girls that kept standing up in front of me. Kind of annoying.

And on to Britney Spears...The title of her tour and cd is Circus so after the Pussycat Dolls and before Britney came out there were various circus acts and some of them were pretty awesome. I tried to get a video of some of them, but since it was just with my camera the quality isn't very good but it is still pretty awesome. The second video is my favorite. I thought that the girl was going to fall so many times but she didn't.

Now to Britney. The concert was a pretty good show. She did lipsync pretty much the whole time, but it was still a good concert/show nonetheless.
So there was this giant screen thing and it would have these videos/pictures playing across it during the concert and sometimes people would come down from it like these guys on the rings.
Here's a better version of the screen thing.
This is Britney coming down from the screen thing and fire coming from the floor. I thought it was pretty cool.
The concert was good but it was pretty long. It lasted almost three hours!

Day 6: Homeward Bound, Sort of

This day I was finally on my way home. I didn't think that it would be that hard without Eric but it was a lot harder than I thought. Hopefully we won't have to do that in a while.

This is one last view from my hotel room. It's as close to panoramic that I could get. I don't know if the camera had the feature. Probably not. But anyways here it is.
This is just a pretty sweet picture when I was flying home when we were above the clouds.
This is when we were coming into Utah. It was cool because the snow was only on one side.

Day 5: The Aquarium

Today some of us decided to go to the aquarium in Tampa. It was a pretty cool place. This is the front of the aquarium.
When we first walked in there was this tank that had sting rays in there that we could pet. At the top of the picture you can kind of tell, but there was this huge ray.
These are just some pictures from the aquarium: A cool turtle swimming around
There was this duck that had a blue beak and I tried to take a picture but every time it would look like it was glowing so it looks kind of funny.
A cute little owl that I thought was fake at first because it didn't move.
Some cool birds.
These were some fish that you could see through.
You could see through the floor in some parts.
This is Tomo sitting with the mermaid. Kind of funny.
A shark and ray.
I tried to get a picture of the cool little seahorse but it was always moving so fast so it's kind of blurry.
I don't remember what kind of fish this was, but it was huge and ugly and can get up to 800 pounds!
They also had this tank where you could touch the starfish. The water was freezing!
So there were these rocking chairs set-up throughout the aquarium and as I was walking through the aquarium I saw this older couple sitting in the chairs looking in a fish tank (second picture). It was kind of funny. I pretended to take a picture of this big fish that was hanging up right above them and took one of them too.
Just some cool fern plant things.
I really like this fish. It was a really bright fish and the camera doesn't do it justice. I call it my Lakers fish for obvious reasons.
This is just a cool little yellow seahorse.
So there was this separate tank for these special seahorses because they were pregnant. The cool thing about them was was that they were guys and they were the pregnant ones. Oh how would that be.
This was a cool seahorse thing. It was called a dragon fish or something like that. I wanted to take a better picture but we couldn't use our flashes because it would scare them.
So at a couple of places there was this smoke curtain that had cartoons playing on them. It was pretty cool.
Later that night we went to Outback Steakhouse and ended up being the first Outback. Sweet! This is the yummy desert I had there.

Day 4

Today was actually the first day that I went to classes. In the convention center they had a lot of different exhibits. As I was walking around the different booths, I saw a sign that said Carl Lewis was going to be there later in the day. So I went to a class and then got in this long line and finally got to "meet" Carl Lewis and get his autograph. Sweet!
After meeting him I walked around a little more, got some free stuff, and looked at more exhibits. As I was walking around there was this one exhibit that is pretty much Dance Dance Revolution, except it's on these hard plastic pads and I saw two of my classmates dancing. It was kind of funny watching them. They're the two on the left.
One of the girls, Bri, was asked to dress up as a mouse for one of the booths and walk around. It was pretty funny/cute. The first picture is of Dr. Appleby, Bri, and me and the second one is of Bri and Chase, her escort, because she couldn't see out of the head very well.
Later in the afternoon I went to this one class where there were these high school kids from somewhere in Florida who are on a step team and they were pretty good.

Later that night we finally decide to try and get together and take a picture of our group out on our balcony.

Day 3

Today I didn't really feel like going to any classes and everyone else went to a Yankees game. I didn't want to go to that either because it was too expensive so instead, I went to Clearwater beach with an old friend who lives in Tampa. I hadn't been to a real beach in a long time so it was a lot of fun. I felt like a little kid playing in the water .
This some pictures driving across the Tampa Bay, which has an average depth of 10 feet. Who'd of thunk it. Not me.

This is a picture of the beautiful beach.

This is of me and Becca ( the one who took me too the beach, Thanks!) and her cute little girl, Eve. I had so much fun catching up with her and meeting her cute little girl. Thanks again for carting me to the beach!

Later that night after dinner, we decided to walk around Tampa and see what was there. There was this one spot that had a lot of little cool shops. Outside in this little plaza thing there was this guy that was making spraypaint pictures. They were pretty sweet. I almost got one but they were really expensive.
