Tuesday
These past few days I got to go to girls camp. This year it was in Salt Lake City, instead of actually camping.
The first thing we did was go to Layton Park and feed the birds and eat lunch.
Next we drove down to SLC and did a scavenger hunt at the Brigham Young Historic Park. It was pretty fun.
Then we went to This Is The Place and learned about the customs they did back then. After we toured around, we had a yummy dinner and the older kids (14+) got to learn how to dance. There were also a few other wards there for their youth conference.
Wednesday
Today, we first went to the visitor's center where one of the Church historians spoke to us and some sister missionaries

A friend was able to watch the kids while I was at camp and she sent me this picture of Owen and her daughter.
Next we went to the Church History Library, where we got to see some original copies of the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and other Church documents. Pretty neat.

Next we went to the Family History Library. It ended up being one of my favorite places. We got to see all types of things with our genealogy. It was awesome.
We also took a bunch of funny pictures in front of a green screen
Next we went to the Church History Museum. We walked around there and checked out the different displays. I was able to touch an Angel Moroni!

After that we went to the Conference Center, where we had a little tour.

After the Conference Center we went to the Joseph Smith Building where we had a "cooking" demo. The chef really did teach us a few things about cooking but he tied a lot of church stuff into it
Then we had a yummy dinner afterwards and then a testimony meeting following dinner.
After dinner we went back to the dorms (where we stayed) and hung out outside and played games.

Thursday
Today we got up early, ate breakfast, and left to go on a hike at Ensign Peak. It was a pretty short hike but it was steep a lot of the way. Once we got to the top the view was awesome! After we were done we hiked a short way down where a member of the bishopric gave a short little devotional and then we headed back down.
