Visiting 'Aulani

Today we went and visited 'Aulani for Christmas. We brought the kids' snow stuff so they could play in the snow. They had fun making snow angels and throwing snow at each other. The kids also brought something they got for Christmas to show her. Conner brought his lawn darts and Emma brought a bunch of stuff: her princess pets, books, and her bath play-doh. It was pretty cute watching her show 'Aulani her stuff and telling her about it. We brought 'Aulani's stuff she got from Santa to show her and we left her solar toy and pink monster. Conner gave her 5 life-saver gummies, Emma gave her some sweet-tart gummies and a perler bead doughnut. We also brought one of the Swig cookies we made on Christmas Eve and a cookie we got from a neighbor. The kids had a lot of fun there playing in the snow. It was fun to watch the kids kind of spend time with 'Aulani. It was fun to go there but it's still hard to go sometimes because she's not here here.

C & E Monthiversary

The kids are another month older!

Emma:
- Said she wanted to keep Owen forever because he's cute

The kiddos:

Conner:
- While watching football, we said it was halftime and he asked if they all went to get a drink. When a timeout was called he asked if someone was in trouble.

Christmas

Today was Christmas! It was a pretty good day. The kids didn't wake up too early, but still kind of early, a little bit before 7. Eric and I went and had them get changed and then let them come upstairs just after 7am to see what they got. They were so excited! They couldn't wait to open their presents and see what they got from Santa and us.

After they looked through their stockings, we went and got Owen out of bed so he could see what he got too.

The kids had a lot of fun opening their stuff. Emma was pretty excited about the blanket she got from Eric's mom. Owen kind of opened presents. He'd tear off a piece of paper and that was it. Conner and Emma were more than willing to help. With each thing that Owen opened it'd be his new favorite toy. He loved the presents Conner and Emma got him, especially the microphone Conner (I think).

After presents, Eric and I made our usual breakfast of red (blue because we were out of red food coloring) velvet pancakes, hash browns and bacon. Conner and Emma did pretty good at breakfast of course because Conner LOVES pancakes. After breakfast we just chilled the rest of the day and let the kids play. For dinner we just had McDonald's because we were both too lazy to cook something.

The kids were pretty excited and thought it was cool that 'Aulani got some stuff from Santa in her stocking. It was nice to see something in there and not be empty for a change.

It was a fun/good day. It was especially fun to watch the kids get excited about what they and others got.
