SLC Temple Date

Eric and I were able to go on a day date to the Salt Lake Temple. I had been wanting to go and do some Sealings there ever since I found out that it was going to close for 4 years at the end of this year. We wanted to go during the day too because we figure it would be less crowded. The session was really good and I am glad that we went.

After the session, we walked the grounds for a minutes and took a few pictures. It was raining while we were in the temple, but it stopped before we came out, I think.

Then we went and ate at BGR Burgers. It was pretty good.

Memorial Day

Today was Memorial Day. We didn't really do much during the day. After lunch we went and got some flowers to decorate 'Aulani's spot. Once we got there, I saw that we didn't have to plant any flowers because the one kind that for some reason does really well. We also got some light pink mums to put there. Stacey them also came to the cemetery. She brought some really white lilies too. It was nice that they came. After they left, we hung out for a little bit longer and then came home and had dinner.

Katelyn's Soccer Game

This weekend the Allen's came down to Utah because Katelyn had a soccer tournament. We went to the two today. The kids had fun playing on the playground.

C&E Monthiversary

I'm so terrible at writing things down for the kids lately.

- The 2nd grade went on a field trip to the aquarium. One of the workers mentioned something about picking up garbage to save the animals (or something like that). So now she always wants to go on walks, bring a grocery sack and pick up garbage. It's pretty cute.

Last Day of 2nd Grade

Today was Conner and Emma's last day of school/2nd grade. I'm pretty excited because now I won't have to get up as early (hopefully). When the kids came home from school, Emma was pretty upset. She said that she misses her teacher. It was a little sad. We did get pizza for dinner to make up for it though.
