4 was the magic number in our house this month.
Landon turned 4 years old! Can someone please explain to me how exactly this happened?! He is growing up so fast and turning into such a wonderful boy. For months he has been telling us that when he turns four he would try new foods and I'm happy to report that he tries something out of his norm everyday. He usually only will take one small bite, but considering he would not even go near a new food without tears this is huge for us!
My baby also turned 4 months old this month. He just keeps making me love him more and more everyday. I am so amazed at the wonderful bond between the boys. They just adore each other, Carter lights up when Landon comes near and will laugh and laugh at all the silly things his big brother does. Landon is a very helpful big brother which I am so grateful for!

The FROG Party!

all dressed up and ready for the party guests to arrive |
This year Landon decided he wanted a Frog Party!
I tried my best to keep everything frog themed
and it turned out to be a pretty fun party!
|
frog games |
To keep with the frog theme we had musical lily pads, a frog pinata (a big thanks to my friend Kristen for helping me design and create the pinata), pin the fly on the frog's tongue, and frog bean bag toss onto lily pads.

more frog games and presents |

frog treats, frog cookies and cake |
Landon had an extra special Birthday party because
both sets of grandparents were able to attend!
My boys are sure loved!
4 MONTHS OLD!
I just love my baby boy and his extreme cuteness!!!
In other very exciting news, my wonderful husband was offered and accepted a promotion this week which will be moving us closer to this beautiful building.

We have loved living in Wichita and have made some dear friends that we will definitely miss! But it seems to me that just as I feel totally settled and adjusted to a new place that's the exact time I find out I'm moving. There are so many things about here that I am really going to miss (good thing the feeling of "missing" has been apart of my life since I can remember, otherwise this would be really hard)! But I do have admit that we are excited for this next phase in our life and I'm especially excited to start the house hunting process and get out of renting and into homeownership! We were blessed to find a good place to rent while Ethan finished up his schooling, but I am ready to have a place of my own. Ethan's official start date is October 15th and he finishes his MBA October 18th! I'm so grateful we decided to put priority on his MBA, we have already been blessed because of it. I'll be here until we have a house to move into, so lets pray that the perfect home for us is easy to find!
