Art Journalling

WOOHOO I fanally found a little bit of time to play with my new gorgeous Dylusions brought from Art from the Heart, I cant even begin to tell you how much I love these new products there brilliant !!!! i've not done any art journalling for a while and I really really enjoyed it and remembered how much I LOVE doing it. This is a new journal that I brought and its A4 !!!! a LOT bigger than my last journal but I think I prefer having a bigger journal you have more room to play with. Im sorry the photos aren't that brilliant and are too dark ive taken them at work and the lighting isnt good, i'll try and take some better ones later on. I hope I done Dyan proud with this :) after I finished making this the other half kept saying can I have a play with your inks now hahahahaha I suppose I will have to let him play with my toys at some stage ... or do I ? hehehehe xxx

Quixotic Challenge - Spooktacular

I made this card for the quixotic challenge which is 'spooktacular' I used my sweet and toxic set from the greeting farm that I brought from quixotic paperie, LOVE this set !!!! The cobweb paper is basic grey from the eerie stack. The blue card backing paper I made myself using a cuttlebug embossing folder and black ink. The bats, spider and skull are all cuttlebug dies.

I had an awesome weekend, me and the other half, poor jay hahahaha went to alley palley on sunday and met the lovely Dyan from Art from the Heart, if you havent been to her blog pop over and check it out she is the queen on art journalling, I spend far too much at her stall and treated myself to her new dylusion ink sprays and acrilic paints, also some masks and stampotique stamps. Dy was lovely enough to put up with us for ages and i feel like i had a crash course in art journalling, only problem is the other half rather loved Dyan art and now wants to play with my new sprays !!!! the cheek of it hahahaha

Sweet and Toxic Love and my New Tattoo

WOW is all I can say I am in LOVE with these new stamps I made a couple of cards last night using the new sweet and toxic stamp set from the greeting farm. This one I coloured using watercolour pencils, the papers are basic grey 'eerie' love these papers so much will have to keep my eyes open to see if I can get more of these. The scalloped edge was made with a mathar stewart punch. The polka dot ribbon is from my stash as well as the black roses. The sentiment and little skull come with the stamp set and the bats are a cuttlebug die.

Im entering this card into a couple of challenges ...

Burtonesque - School for Ghouls
Totally Gorjuss - Flower
A Pocket Full of Posies - Floral Fantasy

I will leave you with a couple of photos of my new tattoo that I have been promising for a while now, you can see from the photos why it took so long to complete ...

Crafty Calander DT Card

This month over at Crafty Calender the challenge is to use the colour blue with the added option of using flowers on your card.

I used one of my gorgeous fairy song art stamps, I felt that these gorgeous stamps hadnt had enough stamping love lately. As always i've coloured my image using watercolour pencils and added lots of stickles to her wings and the flower in her hair. The papers are papermania, the flowers are prima with different colour gems for the centres and the scalloped edge was made using a martha stewart punch.

I will also be entering this card into the new Crafty Emmas Store Challenge which is 'anything goes'

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend xxx
