Aloha & Mahalo Hawaii!

Hawaii! We packed it all up (all 16 of us) and headed for Kauai last week. It was such a nice vacation. I loved spending time with my family. They are the bomb sha bomb. The boys did well on the flights and I made sure I packed PLENTY of toddler goodies. Tyson was so excited to fly on the plane. The flight attendants on Hawaiian Airlines are the best. They loved spoiling that kid. It was great! Troy and I got there a day before everyone else so we checked into a hotel on the beach for the night since we couldn't check into our condos yet. It was so beautiful there. Here is Tyson attempting to climb a palm tree.... Hmmm maybe this ones more my size....

Logi Bear at the beach in Poipu. He loved the sand...and if you can see closely, he loved to eat it too!

The fam...

Here we are on the north side of the island as far as you can drive. This is some of the wet and dry caves they have there.

Cristyn's boyfriend Braden being Tarzan!
Chillin' like a villain...

Kauai's bird. The chicken. They are EVERYWHERE.

Gorgeous lighthouse. Like a postcard!

Show those muscles.

One of two plants like this in the world. We were just waiting for Tyson to go up and destroy...but he didn't. A friend of my dad's took us on a tour in a Natural Botanical Garden where they made natural medicines and study plants. It was amazing.

Brianne getting high off of a hallucinogen flower. That's nice. Hey, I did it too.
The gang walking through the gardens.

This tree is from Jurassic Park where they find the eggs hatched open. Oh no! We didn't see any dinosaurs though.

This is actually a chocolate plant. We got to taste it and it doesn't taste anything like chocolate yet. It's actually really slimy.

Banana's!
This is natural drinking water. Tyson decided to throw rocks into it.

Bamboo
Jackson, Brianne, Me, Troy, Tyson, Noah, Laura, Jared holding Lily, Mom (Cindy), Dad (Lynn) holding Logan.
That was a sweet palm tree.

I've never seen it, but there is where South Pacific was filmed.

Golfing in Hawaii! That was FUN!

Here we are at the Luau. We have to go every time we go. Tradition. The food was fantastic! I absolutely love Hawaiian food.

The entire gang. It was all my side of the family. Except Phillip & Holly's kids :(
He has to stick his big nose into every picture...
Brianne, Jackson & Tyson

Napali Cost. Amazing. Need I say more. It's hard to see it because of all the fog. But it's down there. The countdown is on....two more years!

BellyCorn's & Halloween

So we went to "BellyCorn's" (as Tyson calls it) - twice. The first time we went it was butt freezing cold. Here is the one and only picture we took. Tyson and me sittin' in the big rocking chair. It was soooo cold and the wind was blowing so it felt like 30 below. At our house, the wind wasn't blowing and it was actually pretty nice...but you get over to the point of the mountain and it's blowing. Probably why they put the wind energy mills out there. Just guessing. So we booked it out of there and decided to come back later in the week when it would be nicer! Here we go...nice warm weather. Giddy-up horsey!

Weeeeeeeeeee! Our daring toddler going on the big kid slides. The other ones were WEAK.

I love it because Tyson gets all excited and won't stop talking about the tractor train ride, but when he's on it, it's ALL business.

Logan wants a turn jumping!

Tyson always makes new friends wherever he goes. Here he met a cute little girl....nice!

Am I doing it daddy!?

All aboard!

My handsome man and the boys on the hayride. The bumpiest thing I've ever been on.

Peek-a-boo!

That was it Dad?

Happy Halloween!!! This year Troy made Tyson a sweet box car that was Lightening McQueen! And he even got to wear his Lightening McQueen helmet for the occasion. Troy spent about a half a day working on this project. Thanks Daddy! Logan was adorable Dumbo the Flying Elephant! SOoooo stinkin' cute.

Kaa Chow!
