Mercedes made a similar study (two engines in a A 190) with 15 employees in 4 months which means 60 work-hours in a month. mtm developed the TT bimoto in only 50 work-hours.

But that was then-and in the case of biofuled, 1,100 horsepower monster CCXR, then was a few months ago-the Agera is now.

Billed by its Swiss maker as the world's fastest street legal sports car, the faster one's ugly-but-aerodynamic carbon fiber body covers a vehicle that weighs in at a scant 1,984 pounds (900 kg). That mass is distributed 50:50 and is propelled by a 900-horsepower/774 lb-ft twin-supercharged V8 that begins its life as a garden-variety General Motors LS7 before Weber tears it apart and rebuilds it to its own specifications. The twin-blown eight is then mated to an in-house-developed 6-speed sequential gearbox. Power is directed to an intelligent AWD system (also developed in-house) that can send a maximum of 36% of power to the front wheels.

The FXX, which is the most advanced GT ever created at Maranello, has been updated with an evolution package aimed at further improving its handling and performance. The package was developed as a result of Ferrari's collaboration with its Client Test Drivers and with the invaluable support of Michael Schumacher. The FXXs equipped with this package will also sport a new livery in addition to new rear wing profiles.

The S7 Competition was a variant of the Twin Turbo model that had increased power boost, producing 1000 bhp which was 33% more than the standardTwin Turbo. Only very few of the models were upgraded in this way and Saleen also modified the suspension and aerodynamics to keep pace with the power.

Bentley Continental GT2 Rumor

According to a recent rumor, the Bentley Continental will get a GT2 version in the near future, as one of t he company officials stated in an interview. It will be a lightweight, high performance model, which will outperform even the Bentley Continental Supersports. So far however, the car manufacturer does not have a final decision regarding its engine. The Bentley Continental GT2 may get the W12 engine, or the new twin-turbocharged V8, expected to be launched next year. In both cases, the Continental GT2 will get around 650 hp. Apart from the extra umpf, Bentley's Continental GT2 will also be as much as 200 kg lighter than the GT. This means it will weigh "just" 2.2 tons. It will still be a heavy car, but it will definitely offer an improved performance. The Continental GT2 will have around 100 hp more than the GT. Early speculations say that the Continental GT2 will be able to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in less than five seconds and to have a top speed of more than 200 mph (320 km/h).

Another interesting aspect of the Continental GT2 is that it will be the first in the series to have a rear-wheel-drive system, instead of the traditional AWD.
