Some of my favorite things...

Besides rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens....this is one of my favorite pictures of Emmett. Doesn't it make you smile just looking at it??



I should comment that it's been over a year since I updated our blog...things got really crazy - we've moved twice, John's been to basic training for the Navy, I've lost 25 pounds (though I'm not looking for them!), we moved to California, Evelynne started preschool...You could say it's been a trip!

I decided a few days ago that it was time to start blogging again. So here goes. Life is GOOD! For now, this will have to do. When I come across some of my other favorite pictures, I'll post them.

A Day Trip to Sedona

We wanted to get out of the valley for the day, so we drove to Sedona this morning and had a great time. We did a small hike and then drove into downtown Sedona for some ice cream and walking around. The funniest part was the drive home - I fell asleep, and both kids were wide awake in the back watching "Cars"!

 

 

 

 

Halloween Fun

The only thing I did for Halloween was make some witch cupcakes. They turned out pretty awesome, if I do say so myself...and the pictures of the kids eating said cupcakes speak for themselves...you should have seen my floor when they were done. Emmett went straight into the bath tub! I'll post pictures of us in our costumes when my mother emails them to me...until then, you will have to wait!

A Few Random Pictures

Here are a few randome pictures taken in the past few months. I loved the one of Evelynne sleeping, cause she's got her arm around her doll, and bunny there, too. The ones of the kids in the kitchen are when they are "cooking" dinner with me...this usually ends with me kicking them out of the kitchen because they have destroyed my counter, spices, utensils, etc...the pictures should speak for themselves! And the one of them two of them in time out is priceless! I remember sending Evelynne to time-out for something, and next thing I know, Emmett is doing a sympathy time-out with her! It was so cute! And thankfully we grabbed a picture!
