Lollipop Cookies
Thanks to my new favorite blog, The Idea Room, I had a lot of fun making lollipop cookies yesterday. It was a lot of work, and quite the learning process on how to best color cookie dough, but over all a positive experience. Shelbie helped me every step of the way and I loved spending time with her. She got to take the cookies with her to school today and she walked in so proud to share her creation with her class.
Shelbie and I made most of the cookies while Coral was sleeping, but when she woke up she was thrilled at what she found on the kitchen counter. She was so cute oohing and awing at the colorful balls of dough. I think that she thought that it was pretty play dough cause she tried to play with it. She was also stunned when I pulled off a piece and ate it - She said, "eeewwww...". I then had to explain that it was cookie dough and then she wanted to eat it, and eat it, and eat it.
Give a Day, Get a Day!
This year Disney has a program that gives you the opportunity to volunteer for a certain organization, of your choice, and then you will receive one free ticket to Disney. It is a little more complicated then just that, but you get the picture. You have to be at least 6 yrs. old to volunteer so Grant, Miles, and I were able to participate. We choose to make these no sew, tied, fleece blankets. The kids were so excited when I told them why we were making the blankets. I was so excited when I realized that we will only be paying for Shelbie and that the rest of us will be free :) Below are a few pictures of the kids and the blankets.

Big Boy!
No matter how many children I have I am still amazed at how fast they grow up. Fisher is such a sweetheart and it makes me sad some times to see him getting so big. I just got out the baby excersaucer the other day and I couldn't believe that I had to put it up to the highest level already.
Fisher continues to be a joy to the whole family. Shelbie and Miles love to talk to him and make him smile and giggle. Coral loves to say baby and know where he is at all times. Grant and I love to snuggle him and enjoy his smiles and sweet spirit!

Reflections
I have written many times before about how frustrated I get with my darling 2 year old Coral sometimes. She gets into everything, is very stubborn, strong willed, can't be left alone in fear of what she might get into next, throws tantrums when doesn't get her way, and so forth. However, she also has some of the sweetest and most sincere moments of my children. Her smile, hugs, and precious voice touch my heart and soul.
I have been thinking a lot about this third child of mine lately and I have decided to start thinking about her stubborn and sneaky ways in a positive way. I know that if I can just continue to be consistent with her that her strong will will serve her well in life. I know that she was held back to come to earth in this day and time and that she is going to need to be strong to make it through all the trials that might come her way. I'm not saying that she won't frustrate me anymore but I am going to try to be more patient with her and focus on her good qualities. So to my lovely Coral I love you dearly! Here are some sweet and angelic pictures of her in the last few weeks.

Thankful for Grandparents Arms!
While my mom and dad were visiting they did there fare share of holding Fisher. Sometimes I would put him in his bouncy seat or his jumpy and then the next thing I knew he would be out of it and in their arms. Quite a few times he was so content that he would fall asleep in there arms. Below are some of my favorite pictures. The first one is so precious to me because Fisher fell asleep sitting next to my dad on the couch holding his hand. Fishers little hand wrapped around my dads just melts my heart. The second picture is Fisher asleep in my moms arms. I am so grateful for my parents and that they come to visit me often and help me out with the kids.

Yea for bowling!
My parents came to visit this past week for a few days and we were all so very happy to see them and spend time with them. One of the fun things that we did was go bowling. You can tell by the first picture of Coral that we all had fun. The kids just thought it was great even when they would only hit a few pins. Miles and Shelbie played there own game and Coral and I were a team. Most of the time I just helped Coral push the ball down the lane. With pure luck, and the lane guards up, Coral and I actually won! It was so much fun seeing the smiles on my kids faces! It was also so nice to have someone hold Fisher for me so that I could give Miles, Shelbie, and Coral my full attention. Yea... for Bowling.
To distract Coral from running all around the bowling alley when it was not her turn we let her punch around on then next lanes buttons.
