Easter Sunday

I really wanted a picture of the kids together all dressed up for Easter and this is what I got - Fisher screaming!  Ah well, it almost looks like he was laughing but I know better.
The three oldest were being pretty cooperative so I snapped a few of just them.  I can't believe how old the kids look in this picture to me, especially Shelbie seems to be growing all to fast.

My Girls!

Fisher was so proud of himself that he got to wear this tie and he left it on all morning!

The Easter bunny, being as clever as she is, decided to hide the kids Easter baskets so that they had to wait until after church to find them and get high on all the sugar!  It was fun to watch them search for there baskets and open their eggs.  They all got a new animal, chocolate bunny, and lots of candy filled eggs.

Easter Egg Hunt

We found this GREAT Easter Egg Hunt at this local church.  They had a ton of bounce houses, refreshments, face painting, a clown, and tons of eggs.  It was a beautiful sunny day and a wonderful family activity.  Miles even got lucky and found the one silver egg that had a $20 gift card to Target :)

Above is Shelbie taking Fisher down the big slide.  He had so much fun going up and down this slide that he must have climbed it at least 20 times!

Lots of Swimming!

Our temporary house that we moved into for a few months has a huge pool and we have definitely been enjoying it.  The water is still a little chilly but the kids don't mind.  Coral's lips start turning blue after about 30 minutes but she toughs it out until she starts shivering and then i try to get her out. lol
Fisher's not to interested in the cold water but he loves to play on the steps and in the water table.  I am very excited to have  pool especially with the hot Florida summer fast approaching!

Moving Fun

Eventhough we packed and moved everything from our house in just one week the kids still seemed to have a good time.  Who would have thought that playing on a trailor and boxes and packing paper would be so much fun!  Here's some fun pictures of the kids last week.

 After putting the younger two to bed one night I came down stairs and went looking for Shelbie.  When I couldn't find her in the house I went outside and found her in the trailor looking at a book.  She thought she was so cool. lol
Corl definitely had the time of her life playing on the trailors!

Spring Break Highlights and Not So Highlights...

Ok, so let's start with the highlights - The kids and I went up to North Carolina for Spring Break with my parents.  We did some of our favorite things while we were there.  Some of those include a visit to the bounce house, baking brownies with MaMa, cuddling up watching cartoons, playing outside (even though it was chilly for us Florida folk), lunch at Chick-fil-a, celebrating Shelbie's birthday, a memorable visit to Saluda, NC the small town that I grew up in, and ice cream at Piggy's.
* Bounce House
* Eating brownie mix
 * Cartoons
 * Fisher LOVES Brooms

 * Playing down by the creek near my parents house
 * Shelbie's birthday cake that she designed herself

 * Ice cream cones at Chick-fil-a
 * The house I grew up in (plus some updates that they have done since we moved out)

 * The old Thompson Store downtown Saluda - I spent my childhood going in this small town grocery store and grill

*Piggy's
* Shelbie with some of her birthday gifts

So on to the Not So Highlights...
*On the way home, five hours from home, my car broke down on the highway.  Thankfully Grant found the number to a church near by and the branch Presidents wife came and picked me and the kids up from the side of the road.  She then took us to get something to eat and back to her house for 5 hours until Grant could make it up to South Carolina with a car trailer to pick us and the car up.  We then drove home and got home at 3:30 in the morning.  Crazy day but definitely thankful for all the help we received!
