Back to school

So it was back to school last week at our house and back to routine - thank goodness for that. Miles is now in 3rd grade, Shelbie is in 1st, and Coral misses VPK by 2 months so she is still at home with me and Fisher. She wants to go to school so bad but since I was unable to find an affordable preschool option she is in Mommys school right now :) She does like the extra attention though so I'm sure she'll be fine.
Below are the pictures from the first day of school.

Random Utah pictures part 2...

Fisher was very unsure about Aunt Tillia's two dogs when we arrived.  He pretty much hung on my leg and trembled when they came near him.  However, it only took him one day to fall in love with Daisy (not so much with Tank but I have to say I don't blame him:).  Ruby and Fisher spent a lot of time loving on Daisy and following her around.  I know the picture below isn't the best quality but I just love how sweet it is of Fisher and Daisy.  This picture alone makes me want to get a dog, but I want it to be as sweet as Daisy and nothing like Tank - So I say why take the chance!  On that note if you notice in the picture that Fisher's pajamas have a hole in the toe it's because for some bizarre reason Tank chewed a hole in them, need I say more.
Here's Fisher loving his McDonald's happy meal with nuggets and fries.  He is still my very picky eater so sometimes I'm just happy when he eats!
We did a lot of fun things with the kids during the long hot days and one of our favorites was the Lindon Pool.  Now this is no ordinary community pool!  It has big waterslides, a lazy river, and big pool, a smaller pooler with shallow water and a water playground, and a hot tub.  The kids had so much fun and could definitely wear themselves out good.  Below are a couple of pictures of the kids taking a break from the swimming and eating some snacks at the pool.

above is Coral and Ruby together on a towel and Fisher eating some crackers on his own towel.
Evelyn and Miles above and Leland and Shelbie below.
One night I took all the older kids to Walmart cause they all wanted to look around and see if they could find something to spent there own money on.  Coleman, Evelyn, and Leland all ended up getting beta fish and fish tanks (much to Tillia's dislike).  Shelbie found a strawberry shortcake doll that changes hair color when you wet and comb her hair and Miles bought some little skateboards and this snow fox in the picture below.  He is a sucker for a cute stuffed friend as am I so I'm no help.
Ruby and Fisher did become such cute friends while we were out there.  As soon as she would wake up she would say, "Where Fif-er".  Here they are enjoying a bath together.
I also caught them holding hands while walking into this family fun park and I grabbed my phone to take a picture.  I just LOVE this sweetness!
I wanted to add that this fun park that we went to was on the last full day of our trip and I would have to say that we saved the best for last.  This place was a blast!  I have to thank my sister again for getting tickets to this place.  She found this groupon that gave entrance for a family of four, a large pizza with drinks, and arcade tokens.  The park had these huge waterslides that were honestly some of the funniest I have ever been on.  All my kids just couldn't get enough even Fisher!  All the kids were so sweet to Coral and Fisher giving them rides on there laps over and over down the slides.  I myself went down them with kids over and over cause they were so much fun.  Then we had our pizza and drinks and went inside to play the arcade games.  My kids thought this topped it off great cause I never pay money to let them play arcade games.  I was so much fun and everyone agreed that we had a great ending to an awesome trip!

We had such a fun trip that it made the traveling with four young kids all by myself worth it!  We already miss you guys and can't wait till we can spend more time together!

Random Utah pictures part 1...

It was definitely pretty crazy at my sisters house with 9 kids so whenever we got a moment of peace and quite it was a moment to savor!  Below is Fisher in one of those moments by himself playing with Rubys tea set right before he went to bed.
Look at those big brown eyes!

One of the days we were there it was late in the afternoon and we couldn't find Coral.  After a few minutes of looking around she was found on the stairs fast asleep.  I guess with so many kids in the same house it's easy to get worn out!
Two of the days I was there Tillia had to take Leland to dance camp and I got the pleasure of manding the chaos all by myself.  The picture above is me letting the girls have a "pool party" in there bedroom with there bathing suits, a mattress slide, etc.  Whatever kept them happy  and me sane was my motto :)
Above is Fisher having fun with Aunt TT's high heels.  heehee
Fisher slept in the same room as me and a couple of times when he would wake up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get him back to sleep I would just put him in my bed and he would fall back asleep.  It was actually really sweet that he snuggled with me and fell asleep.  Above is a picture of him in my bed after I had gotten up.
Tillia has a fun playground at the top of her neighborhood that we took the kids to a few times.  On the left is Coral up high with Leland and Shelbie on the steps.  The pic on the right is Fisher with his cheesy smile.
On the left is Coral and Tillia with there lipstick on.  To the right is Tillia posing with this really cute apron we saw at this yummy yummy bundt cake store.  This particular day Tillia and I hired a couple babysitters to watch over all the little munchkins so we could go out for the afternoon for some sister shopping time.  It was so much fun just to be with Tillia and hang out.  Those moments are priceless to me and I love her so much!

Park City Visit

While in Utah the kids and I got to visit with my sister in law, Lesa Peers, and her family in Park City.  We went on a beautiful hike up in the canyons and then went to a Pioneer Day Celebration.  At night my brother in law Wade put on the best fireworks display around!  It was great to see them and the kids love spending time with there cousins.
These are some pictures of our hike in the canyons.  Below is Hannah holding Coral's hand during the hike.

Here's a couple pictures during our ride on the gondola.
Fisher loved the plasma car and we both loved the cooler weather up in mountains of Park City.  The picture of Shelbie was at the Pioneer Day Celebration.  She waited in line forever to get her face painted like a pink doggie.  The celebration was a ton of fun and the kids love the games, crafts, and music.  Fisher danced around to the music for at least 45 min.  I got a few videos of him and it was so cute!
