We experienced such beauty on our 4 day trip to Acadia National Park. It is THE most beautiful place on the East Coast; the scenery is quite literally breathtaking. We enjoyed our first camping trip as a family of four in the Blackwood's campground. We had a wonderful time, hiking, swimming, sitting around the campfire and spending time together taking in the sights. We will be back to do this again!

TEXAS or BUST Y'ALL!
Our big trip this summer was a week in Texas. We went down to attend our dear friends Laura Madeline and Jonathon's wedding. Vivienne was the flower girl and it was truly the loveliest wedding.
We flew into Austin and then made our way to Waco for the wedding. We visited Magnolia and the Dr. Pepper Museum while there. The wedding was beautiful, Vivi may have lost it walking down the aisle and started crying seeing all the people, but she looked gorgeous as did the bride!
The kids spent 3 solid hours dancing on the dance floor, they were so tired that night!
We enjoyed Austin and San Antonio after our time in Waco. We explored Congress Street, the Capital building, the Children's Museum, watching the bats fly out at night from the bridge, the river walk, the Alamo and the Spanish Market.
The thing that stands out most about Texas is the amazing FOOD! Donuts from Voo Doo Donuts, Torchy's Tacos, BBQ, oh my! So much deliciousness!
Our family had a great time, the kids were wonderful and we had a blast during our week in Texas.
Girls Weekend- Cape Cod 2016
I love the yearly SOCS (Society of Camberville Sisters) girls weekend. This year we ventured to Cape Cod and stayed at Amelia's mother's air bnb attached to her home. It is a beautifully renovated barn, it is an amazing space!
We had a lovely time walking around the town of Sandwich, going for run, eating delicious home made food, kayaking, sitting in the sauna, making friendship bracelets, and enjoying girl talk and Sangria.
These ladies are amazing and I cannot believe how much they enhance my life.
Lancaster with the Alfords
Sometimes your really amazing friends that are basically your family move. This seems to be happening a great deal more than we are happy with as of late.
Our dear friends the Alfords left a year ago and have been enjoying a journey in North Carolina. We decided we needed to meet them in the middle to get some quality time in. We met in Lancaster, PA and enjoyed a marvelous time exploring Amish country and spending a day at Hershey Park.
Their little boy is a red head just like Viv but has the most amazing tight curls you have ever seen! We loved seeing Owen and getting to know him more. Such a sweet chill yet active baby. Wish we could see these three more often!
The landscape here is honestly breathtaking. SOOO open, with rolling hills, lovely farms and green pastures and amber waves of grain for miles.
