Preschool and Renting

So I and a few ladies from my ward have team up together to teach a co-op preschool. Teusday and Today it was at my place. We live in an apartment and keeping 5 roudy boys in check is not easy. I do the best I can, but Thursdays seem to be the worst day. At the end of preschool I hear a knock at the door. It was the manager for the apartment we live in and a girl that live on the floor beneath us. Now she doesn't live directly beneath us, but is beneath and one door down. Apparently on Tuesday, she had some crystal figures broken. They aparently fell off her "secured self" where the pounding coming form upstairs knocked them off. I don't know if it is my fault, but I feel terrible if it was. She also works nights, so aparently noisy 3 year olds running around at 10:00 in the morning is too much for her.

What I really wanted to say to her is, you live in an old apartment building. It wasn't built very good, and it is just getting older. I too have to deal with unconsiderate renters, who get drunk and stomp around on the weekend when my children are trying to sleep. A few week ago I went to bed at around 11 and heard them then. I got up around 2:30 and heard them above my kids room yelling and stomping around. I have to deal with an onery 3 year old when they wake him at night. I also have to deal with getting out of bed to make sure he goes back to sleep when it happens.

We have lived basically in apartments since we have been married. We have had some pretty bad nieghbors, along with some not so bad. But what makes me mad is that I am blamed for something I possible had not much to do with.

Renting has some pros, but this is definitely a con.
