3 Weeks to go!

My sister said I needed to update my blog so this is for you Jord!! I only have three weeks left and everything is looking great! Just doing the "nesting" thing... Elijah asked me this morning if the baby sister was coming today. I told him No, but she better come no later than her due date!!

Potting Training Update!

Well I am proud to say that Ian has potty trained himself! He has gone 3 days now without an accident! Woo hoo that was a breeze! Hopefully he stays this way when the baby comes!

Potty Training!

Ian has decided he doesn't want to wear diapers anymore. I was a little reluctant at first, but in the last couple days he has only had two accidents! It pays to have an older brother I think...this time around is much easier....at least so far!

Rain!

My boys didn't like the rain until grandma got them Spider Man umbrellas. Now all they want to do is play in the rain....

Bus & Train Ride

Elijah's preschool went on a field trip today which included riding the Bus and Train. They learned about the different types of transpertation people use in the city. Ian was excited that he got to go along too. We should do that more often because it made both of them zonk!!

Now that the weather has turned to RAIN every other day, the boys have had to come up with games to play inside. Hopefully these are in order...Play "video" games, Book of Mormon book club,piano playing, cooking, and jumping of Mom's bed which is always a favorite!

Kids Say the Funniest Things

Elijah had been playing with marbles and later on that day he comes out of his room with a concerned look on his face and said, "I've lost my marbles!"

Later, Elijah was playing with dads tools, specifically the screwdriver, and said, "I'm gonna go screw with Ian."

Burnt Dinner!

Well it all started out great until Ian decided to "help" make dinner. He thought that the oven would cook faster at 500 degrees....it sure did! After I took the burnt pizza out of the oven, that had only been in there for about 5 minutes, I pretended to cry. Ian came over and gave me a hug and said, "That's ok mommy, we can go get another one." Kids are so cute at times. So that's what we did, we sent daddy to the store to get another pizza and this time Ian told me he wouldn't touch the oven...good thing!
