Play is Good for the Soul

Meet Mr. Bear.
Don't worry, he won't scratch you. Ian tells us all of the time that he isn't wild, he is a nice bear. He loves being with Ian and going for rides on his back. When Miah hears clanging in the kitchen, she drops everything and drags the chair up to the counter to help. She is willing to do anything... dishes, empty the silverware tray in the dishwasher, cook, replace the butter in the butter dish (she really likes to help with that one), or flip pancakes. I love my little helpers!
Ian loves naptime...for Miah that is! That is the perfect time to pull out the blocks and build the most difficult creations. Miah has a tendency to act like Godzilla.
This military jeep is equipped with a gun. (yikes)
Miah enjoys strolling with her babies. They like to be swaddled and fed regularly.
It is pretty cute.
I've been working on my aim. Anyone care to play? Mom isn't much of a sport, but Dad is all for it. Hmmm, Do you think there is much of a difference between boys and girls?
Miah loves her view finder. She is helping her brother look for clues to find the hidden Decepticon. Who knew it had that kind of power!

Splash Park

We found Rio Vista, a great park, where the kids can play in the water to cool off and then go to the other side and play on some excellent structures. The turtle was kind of freaky. It's on a timer and shoots out water like Old-Faithful! Look out!Sometimes the wind makes it a little chilly!
Caysja found the whole scene a little scary.
Ian loved being in control of the frog. It's a good thing that spray couldn't reach us!
What a great park! We'll be back.

Look Everyone, No Training Wheels!!

What an exciting day! Ian decided he was ready to take off the training wheels and go for it! He thought it would be a good idea to wear the knee and elbow pads...just in case he crashed. Well, he crashed, but not as often as we expected. Ian is so proud of himself and is constantly telling our friends that he can ride a two wheeler. Yeah, Ian!
