Baby Naomi Weekly Update!

WEEK 37 - 3/19/07 - Congratulations! Your pregnancy is now considered full term — meaning your baby is developmentally ready to handle life outside the womb. (Babies born before 37 weeks are pre-term and those born after 42 weeks are post-term.) Your baby probably weighs a little over 6 pounds at this point and measures between 19 and 20 inches, head to heel.

Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. Dark-haired couples are sometimes thrown for a loop when their children are born blonds or redheads, and fair-haired couples have been surprised by Elvis look-alikes. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.

Luke "Bubba"

Luke is starting a new job this Sunday. They fly him out to Salt Lake, which he will be doing often. He is excited that he will be able to use his Chinese and travel a lot. He is also trying to get into the UCI MBA night school program beginning in March, so needless to say, we will be busy! He is super excited to become a daddy in April. Feeling added pressure now as the "man of the house", he has already mentioned bringing his guns down from Idaho...

Weddings

We had a great time at our good friend's wedding this last summer. We are very happy for him and his beautiful bride!

NYC trip with the girls

Some old school....Belen, Kelly and I went to NYC last August 2005 and we had a blast. Shopped, hit up MOMA, ate at 2 am, walked all over central park and other great tourist spots. I can't wait to go back!
